Went there with my family and european friends and should say that it was just wonderful. Different kinds of chutney's to please your taste buds and delicious food. Lots of choice for vegetarians. Definitely worth a visit.

Its a place they all tell you to be at if in Hyderabad! However, it has simple food and options, not much variety of food to chose from. They have ventured to north indian specialities as well, which is fair to taste. South Indian food is good to taste, decent service, good ambience...its simple eating!

whenever i have been to this place, it has been jampacked. so obviously, it cannot be completely useless. but you don't always get a consistently good service. sometimes you come out feeling good, sometimes not. overall, i'll say the place it worth visiting. it is economical as compared to many other places, you get to taste a variety of chutneys... On my business trip to Hyderabad, some one suggested me to have dinner there, as I am not a very fond of South Indian food but at Chutney's the test of different type of Idlis specially Guntur Idli & Four Uttapams along with 6 different types of chutney is mouth watering. Ambience is very good, the services extremely quick &... More

Chutney's is known for its Thali and Idli-Dosas. But none of it seemed to impress me. The food, to the very best, was ordinary and not something to gaga about. But again, nothing much to complain about.

Even though I am a hardcore non-vegetarian, once in a blue moon I do turn up at this place for a pleasant change. I love the Babai Idlis & The Mushroom Butter Dosa. They serve vegetarian meals with different CHUTNEY's & I recommend the coconut milk chutney. Worth a visit for every vegetarian. Very comfortable seating & at prominent locations.... More

Ample seating space. Three (not two) large projector screens with a random channel played. Perfect for a popular cricket match. Comfortable seating. Foods good. Eat at leisure. No hurries. Loved their thali. Some other attempts at variety not that great.perfect family outing.

Dosa and Idly where well made. Their chutneys are not too spicy and very tasty. Went for lunch and breakfast. Lunch is busier and therefore more noise. Service is quick with pleasant staff.

I visited this restaurant multiple times. Often visit to try some good south Indian food. Always felt happy after having good south Indian dishes along with its specialty that is different type of chutneys. Thali is average, North Indian spread is good but not excellent. Individual menu item cost may be bit higher but worth trying once. Service is best... More

Most of the larger hotels do not have very authentic mangalorean veg food as one would get in a stand alone restaurent in Mangalore. I was pretty much surprised when I tried Chutne"s. The food was authentic and the decor and style of serving was better than the stand alone restaurents.
