The food is not great (had food poisoning few times) and the prices are bit steep. Staff, however is great! The front guy (Joshua) is very friendly and unlike most locals he is not pushy.

A great restaurnt on the main Senegambia strip. The staff are helpful and polite and service is good compared to the usual 'GMT' for timings. The sizzlers are great, as is all the seafood. very good value for food and the Julbrew is one of the most competitively priced here.

We stumbled in here on our first night in Kololi. The fish, seafood and local food were very good. The restaurant was busy but we didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive. Most of the restaurants on the main street were busy and there was always somebody outside trying to entice you in. Since it was our... More

This restaurant is truly dreadful! The service here is appalling and the quality of food very poor. The "sizzlers" end up burnt onto the plate and totally inedible.Food very bland and has obviously been sat for a while as it comes so quickly after ordering. What was really disgusting was the fact that they piled all the chairs and tables... More

We went here many times during our stay in Senegambia Resort and I must say, the service is great and the food delicious. Definately worth a visit.

We ate typical Gambian food a lot whilst we were away and the African Queen served the tastiest local meal I had during my holiday. Every time we passed the restaurant it always looked a lot busier then many of the others, however the food was still served pretty quickly. As it was fairly crowded its probably not a place... More

Excellent food, ate here once. Service was very quick and got out food within ten minutes, not gambian maybe time like everywhere else. The reason we didnt go back was because of the 'entertainers' if you could call them that. We were there 45 mins and had two people ask us for money. One we didnt mind as he was... More

The food was great here; we ate dinner here 3 times in 14 nights. On the nights we tried elsewhere; we stopped for Chocolate Apache Cocktails on the way home....so basically we came here a fair bit! Sizzlers are a big thing here; too big for me but hubby nearly finished one! Bruschetta starter and prawn coconut curry was my... More

This was my favourite restaurant on the strip! The food is beautiful. I had the seafood pot and my friend had the chicken pot! We devoured the food without speaking. It has so much flavour and the rice is so soft. The service is very good and so is the entertainment. I recommend this for all, couples, friends and family!
