Wasn't sure what to expect from this restaurant when we walked by, but we decided to try it, and were pleasantly surprised. The pizza was a good size for two to share. They offer a large variety of stone oven baked pizzas. We tried two different types and they were both very good. We recommended this place to others from... More

Stayed in Le Meridien and right next door is this super pizza restaurant. The place outside(eat outside) doesn't look like much but brick-oven pizza to die for! Had what we would call "the works." Definitely the way to go if your a pizza lover.

We were so happy to learn about this restaurant through Trip Advisor, located next door to Le Meridien, where we stayed one night pre-cruise in January. At the resort, a mediocre cocktail was $20 and a sandwich was almost $30. A short walk to Le Cigalon, where we enjoyed a decent meal and a great bottle of wine for less... More

Had dinner at Le Cigalon and we were quite disappointed. My wife's meal was quite dry and we asked for soy sauce, but they could not provide any. Mine also was dry, but I could cope with it. I had a meat course, my wife had fish. Very disappointed.

Ate at restaurant twice - but warn you - have only pizza or pasta. My husband had a seafood gratin and it was awful. Otherwise nice. Reasonable prices.

We tried this out after reading about it in the travel guide. Apparently the indoor dining area, which looked quite nice, was closed the night we were there so we ate out on the patio which is furnished with plastic chairs and tables, so nothing fancy. And while we were waited on by a waitress who made sure to double-check... More

Ate here for lunch while staying at Le Meridien. We had driven around Tahiti for about three hours and found nowhere to eat so it was ironic that this restaurant was within walking distance of our hotel. We ate inside because it was very humid outside, although given the choice I would have preferred to eat outside with the locals.... More

We stayed next door (Le Meridien Hotel) and we could walk to this restaurant. We went once and then we decided to go back for our last diner, to enjoy the friendly atmosphere and the cuisine (sort of Provencal cuisine). Raw fish is available with a great choice of Pizza.

My husband and I ate hamburgers at this restaurant for dinner. At 10pm, I was violently ill. It lasted for 3 hours. It almost ruined my trip. Be very careful what you order here- they may keep their food cold just not cold enough.

The food quality at Le Cigalon is quite high. We had great salads and pizzas. This is not the typical fare in Polynesia, but it was delicious and filling. This place is a bit off the beaten path, but the ambiance is pleasant and the service is great. High value for money.
