What a fantastic restaurant and sublime cuisine. It's an art of food specialties. We are both keen travellers and like the top end as well as the ''food stalls'' and this rates right up there on our scale. The athmosphere might be a little too uptight (champagne serving with gloves) especially for Tahiti and what you are used to at... More

This was by far the best french cuisine dinner we had while in the island but also the must expensive!!!! Over $500.00 for the two of us. The restaurant is very clean. We had a nice table facing the pacific ocean. The service was just fabulous . We had the 7 course dinner and a dessert called the black pearl... More

Some of the best food I have ever enjoyed. Enjoying a tasty 4 course dinner while listening to the crashing waves was a delightful way to enjoy the first night in Tahiti. The Black Pearl dessert was the most unique desert ever enjoyed. I won't ruin the surprise we had with that, you'll have to go there and order it... More

Get your wallet ready for a really expensive meal, but at the same time a superb one. Including tax and service starters were $50, mains $65 and desserts $35. WOW> But once you get over this shock you will have a superb meal, in a beautiful relaxed colonial setting with very good service

The restaurant is nice compared to most on the island. Request a seat by the ocean if it is raining or one outside of it is raining. It was wonderful to hear and watch the waves crashing. Food vs Price The food was very good; however, portions are extremely small, and the price is $$$$. Dinner for two with one... More

Le Coco's is trying to play in culinary top league but can't live up to that standard. Food was ok, not great. Service was ok , but not great. Overall it was just ok & for just ok it is very pricey. I would definitely not go back again.

All dishes were of the highest quality. It was fairly expensive but worth it. The amuse bouche was delicious: vegetables with goat cheese mousse and wasabi foam and seaweed crisps. The fish courses were perfection. Most interesting was the golden pearl which was like a pre-dessert. Warm chocolate sauce was poured over a chocolate "pearl" which wasa bit larger than... More

The culinary highlight of our trip to French Polynesia was our Saturday evening meal at this wonderful restaurant. Food, service, and presentation were equal to Le Bernardin in New York City, and the ambiance exceeded it. From the amuse-bouche to the little surprise dessert (we even made a movie of it being completed at the table), we were surprised that... More
