My wife and I discovered this gem on a short walk from our hotel, the Manava Suites Resort. The ambience is tropical, and you can select indoor or outdoor seating. We chose outdoor and had a beautiful view of Moorea at our table. The menu is in French, but we had a wonderful waitress, Oriane, who spoke very good English... More

Like the title says, this place is worth the trip, and it's not as far from south away from Faa'a and Papeete as the Tripadvisor map suggests (why are they ALWAYS wrong?!!!) The food is superb; Fish, fresh fish, raw fish (poisson cru), seafood and even the meat dishes are good! All served in a beautiful waterfront setting - (book... More

We ate here on a Tuesday evening and arrived without a reservation. Luckily, our stomachs were still in a different time zone and as such we were the first customers of the evening, which the secured is the only non-reserves table on the pontoon. We started the evening with some excellent cocktails (daiqiri and a maitai). Our second course was... More

Near Manava Hotel (8 minutes walk) we came here two times within 4 days. The service is very friendly and courteous. We had a large steak and seared tuna at first dinner and seared tuna and tuna sashimi at the second. Not to forget we had creme brulee as dessert. The steak was good, but the tuna was excellent, why... More

I had the poisson cru (I can really do a research of where to find the best poisson cru on the island!) and the fondant au chocolat for dessert. Don't get me wrong both dishes were good. But for this price range I expected to fall off my chair. The best is the view, the atmosphere, the jetty, the furniture... More

I've only been once, but enjoyed my visit at this restaurant. I had one of the daily specials ( carpaccio de thin with balsamic vinegrette). Dessert tarte de papaya with vanilla bean ice cream. I will differently go back!!

Our Tahitian friend, Maire, brought us here as the owner is a friend. We sat at a table over the water, with a view of Moorea. If that wasn't good enough, the food was incredible. I had a big tuna steak with a giant slice of fois gras on top! Who would have known what a great combination this was?... More

We were recommended this restaurant by the person at the front desk of the hotel we were staying at. We managed to get a table on the jetty (recommended) and it was a fantastic location over the water facing towards the lagoon and Moorea. The cocktails were good and our meals were tasty and reasonably priced for Tahiti. The staff... More

The Blue Banana is well-known to locals and tourists. It has a wide selection.....from a basic "touristic" menu to more unusual fare such as a foie gras burger or escargot pizza. The drinks were good also......particularly enjoyed the Mudslide. The deck area over the water is very nice for dining. The staff is accommodating and friendly. My family enjoyed this... More

This restaurant is tucked away behind a non-descript entrance and opens up to a gorgeous deck overlooking the lagoon towards Moorea. Tasty, reasonably priced food and good service.
