Generous portions, good service

Price-wise this place is comparable to the rest of the island. We enjoyed our first dinner so much we came for a second during our week on the island - tired of fish and rice and fish and rice we ordered the steak (both times) with the blue cheese sauce as one of our entrees. Our first time we... read more

A very nice meal for a family of five. Four of us had the Chinese food which was absolutely delicious. My youngest had the rack of lamb which was fantastic. This is a very nice place to eat and reasonable value. We had one main course and two carafes of wine for £25 a head. Well worth a visit.

We were driven to Le Mahogany in the complimentary shuttle, by a very amusing and interesting driver. We were surprised at the selections, as this was our first night on the island. Seemed pricy at first but definitely in line with other establishments. I had beef and vegetables with rice, which was very good. Most in our party enjoyed their... More

We both chose parrot fish as our main entrée. It was cooked meniure style. My fish was a bit overcooked but still delicious. Potatoes, rice and plantains accompany this fish and there was so much to eat.

Parallel menus of Polynesian and Chinese. Tried one from column A and one from Columbia B. Neither was particularly special.

the tuna tartar was awesome, if you like that dish, definitely order here. Great version of American Chinese Takeout. The ambiance is fun but go early if you want there to be more people around and more "energy" in the ambiance.

At least in what I got (steak because they were out of the ribs). Overrated. We paid $65 or so for two meals and drinks. But I was not impressed, plus the location was nothing special (not on the water or anything) and the service was beyond slow. Overall, just blah, I would skip. But maybe I got them on... More

Great place to celebrate a special event, we went for Fathers day and enjoyed the great food for an appertizer (crabe farcie) and for the main course the filet de boeuf which was simply fantastic, a good selection of fine French wines and of course undoubtedly the champagne is a must

I went here while on honeymoon in Moorea as it was a must visit according to our hotel concierge. The hotel was spot on in their recommendation. Of the three restaurants we dined at ( Moorea beach cafe and Rudy's being other two), this was best combination of food and atmosphere. It did not have a touristy feel like some... More

It was my habit while staying in Moorea to always ask the drivers what food item they liked most at whatever restaurant I was going to. The driver for the Le Mahogany pick up told me to get the shrimp and scallops with puff pastry. And it did not disappoint. So good. And the owner offered me free wifi. Sweet!
