Family owned restaurant with excellent food and décor. They provide mosquito repellent lit coils that worked to keep down bugs. Worth trying.

We went for lunch and noticed the price is kind of high. If the food is great. We would accept since it is Tahiti. Many reviews recommended cury shrimp dish and chow mien that we ordered. kind of disappointed. They reminded me about the Americanized oriental resaurants in San Francisco area. Average place.

My wife and I went to dinner here one night during our honeymoon. Wanting to get out of the hotel, we took the recommendation of the concierge and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant is by no means luxurious but rather it has a small town ambience to it. The food is really good. French and Chinese. An unusual combination but... More

This restaurant was so good we dined there twice while we were in Moorea. It has excellent French and Asian dishes and the food was fresh and delicious. The salads were very good, the entrees and sauces were excellent and the desserts were amazing! They also have a very good wine list. I would highly recommend it. We loved it... More

Unfortunately they overcooked my wife's lobster to the point that it wasn't edible. Neither of us like to complain and no one from the restaurant bothered to check on us so we didn't have the opportunity until I was finished. At that point, the waitress still didn't bother to ask how our meal was but asked to clear our plates... More

Sounds like a strange combination: French cuisine and Chinese, but this was some of the best food on the island. My husband had the lamb chops (outstanding) and I had the house special chow mein (also outstanding). Very generous portions on the chow mein. A bit pricey, but well worth it. The ambiance was lovely, we sat indoors. You can... More

We loved both but liked the food at Le Mahogany better. The duck with foie gras was amazing as were the scallops with white wine. They pick up in a very clean mini van. Highly recommend them both.Meals come with vegetables and rice or potatoes.

Was ok, when dinning in Moorea the choices are so few it's hard to really choose. In any case food and service was ok for Moorea standards. Much better then the 2 restaurants at the Soffitel.

Large selection of food, from Chinese to Polynesian. Service is good and the quality is as good as any other comparable priced restaurant in the island. The fish selection is not as good as Rudy's, but has a larger selection of other food such as Chinese. A much better option than eating at the hotel, especially the Sofotel, where the... More

The food is good and a little different. There is an Asian flair to their cooking here. We had spring rolls, their version of chow fun, and duck. Delicious. A little salty but hey you are on vacation.
