We chose this on the basis of the good reviews and weren't disappointed. They picked us up from and dropped us back at the Sofitel, friendly driver. We had the Crab cake and the spring rolls to start - very nice and big portions - the crab cake is a bit like a breaded brûlée. For mains we had the... More

Chinese and Polynesian food. Fantastic. A Chinese couple was W&H us and said the Chinese food was some of the best they have ever had!!! How about that!

The idea of Chinese/Tahitian/Seafood sounded awesome in theory. We weren't disappointed. It was a great spot with a nice outdoor area but also a fairly large indoor area. Drinks were strong, food was delicious and service was great. We had the poisson cru, the crab cake (which was more like a crab dip), the lobster and the chicken and vegetables... More

Pros: decent food, picked us up from our hotel, nice wait staff Cons: small portions, average food, right next to a noisy gym with no walls

We had free pickup service from the Hilton that was right on time from Le Mahogany. We were seated promptly upon arrival and the service was friendly and attentive. We ordered a reasonably priced carafe of table wine and appetisers. My wife had the French onion soup (5/5) and I had the tuna tartar in coconut milk (4/5). For our... More

Okay dinner, we had some Chinese options which were kind of Chinese (but the noodles were ramen)....Service was fine and so was the setting. Frequented by many locals.

This restaurant is located next to a Gym place and was extremely noisy during our entire dinner. Do not go there if you expect any romantic dinner. The service was super slow and kind of hectic. The food was disappointing except a good Shrimp curry. The worst was their desserts, we had a terrible Creme brulee. Our tip: pass your... More

I chose the Mahogany chow mein special with chicken, shrimp and pork. I was disappointed as there were hardly any vegetables so I had to have the chocolate and coconut ice cream for dessert which was quite good. Yes, they will pick up and deliver you back to your resort.

My husband and I tried Mahogany while in Moorea for our honeymoon. It was very tasty. My husband had the filet with foie gras and I had mahi-mahi; both of us really enjoyed our dinner! The service was great and the ambiance was nice. Check it out!
