Refreshing

We were promptly picked up by Te Honu Iti from or resort. We were treated with a smile and taken to a table next to the water in Cooks Bay. I was impressed by their wine list and appetizers, both tasty. The fish was fresh and had great flavors. Beef was tender busting with flavor. No need for a... read more

While at the Hilton, we ran into two couples who recommended Te Honu Iti for dinner. The concierge arranged for transportation by the restaurant. The restaurant had a quaint back porch where we ate. It turns out that the driver was actually the chef! His restaurant had been listed in the past in "1000 Places You Need to Visit". The... More

I said it 20 years ago... I repeated it 15 years ago... And I say it again... "Chez Roger" is the best table not only in Moorea, but in all of French Polynesia. This year, instead of coming by road, we anchored our yacht in Cook's Bay and drove our dinghy to the little dock where the pretty waitress helped... More

The Vanilla Mahi is amazing! Like eating dessert for dinner. My husband had the shrimp and scallops in a garlic sauce and loved it. They offer free shuttle and the service was prompt. Do not miss this place. Oh! Almost forgot the show. Sit by the water and watch the stingray and shark circle the minnows. Great place!!

The best service and great food. Feeding the fish off the deck was entertaining. Absolutely recommend eating at this restaurant.

Te Honu Iti was previously Chez Roger. Roger was the owner and chef for many years - now his sons look after the cooking, and Roger comes to pick you up from your hotel. Our group of sixteen wanted to eat here for our final night, and they graciously opened the restaurant just for us - two days after one... More

Stayed at Sofitel Moorea and our boat drivers recommended this spot - owner was french - the exec chef of Sofitel many years ago - he was so nice - he drove us back to the hotel. Good food at a little place that is right on cooks bay - they feed sharks and rays at night out the back... More

We loved this place so much we went back on our last night for a lovely, quiet dinner. First, the place is family owned. The dad was a chef and now drives the van to bring guests from their hotels. Now his sons are chef and the host. The food was my favorite (and most beautifully presented) during the whole... More

This place is on the water on a large covered deck. It is Expensive as fine French food, but worth it. We went for lunch on a rainy day, and were the only customers. They pick up from hotels for free and it is necessary to make reservations as they fill up for dinner.
