"Fares" means Knight and in this case... Nomen Omen. Manifold so...☺☺☺ Service is so "intense"... that the access of zeal in the attention becomes almost embracing. (I could not take a sip from my glass of water without having it IMMEDIATELY refilled!) Napkins are unknown item... but on each table a tissue box and a platter of sliced lemon is... More

There are at least two Fares Seafood Restaurants in Sharm - 1 in the Old Market, and 1 in Il Mercato. In 2011 and 2012, and on local recommendations, I visited the Il Mercato Fares Seafood Restaurant, and had food poisoing both times. I swore never to return. Against my better judgement (again) I was encouraged to return to Fares... More

We tried both Fares Restaurants in Sharm. The salad bar was very good. Great range of seafood; fresh and really tasty; seafood soup is a must, fast service, competitive price, never dissapointed!

I like sea food a lot. Last year we had dinner at both Fares Restaurants in Sharm. They are the best food I have ever eat. Looking at the plate even takes your breath away. The Fares mix fish soup is the best one I have ever had in any restaurant. If you are too hungry than first have a... More

Going to the old market to eat seafood, we tried Fares for the first time, & it will not be the last. Everything we ate was amazing, specially the grilled jumbo shrimps. The salad bar is above average but not wow. I totally recommend this restaurant if you love seafood.

I've had king prawns in London, Spain, New Zealand, the States, France, Greece and Australia and theirs are the best I have ever eaten! The service may not be too great but the food speaks for itself, not cheap but compared with other cities and the quality, a bargain. I'm told the old market is better than il Mercato! I'm... More

I was so much impressed by this place! it was my first visit - i had mixxed sea food soup, grilled eel, shrimps and guava juice with fruit. It is a bit noisy downstairs but it's not a problem at all, service is very quick and AC is working... Highly recommended for visit!
