food here is pricey even before they add on the tax and service charge to their menu price list but the taste of the French cuisine is well worth it.

Le Deauville remains our favorite restaurant in El Gouna - fine dining at a high standard. Menu and service very good - expect to pay ~ £50-60 per head + wine for a 3 course meal - but be warned the portions are very generous - we don't eat lucnh if we a are planning to eat here in the... More

Food is acceptable but not perfect and not delicious, we were group of five and ordered their best dishes according to their recommendations but food wasn't that nice, below average in my opinion and poor value for money We had and accident that one of the chicken dishes (chicken stuffed with cheese) was totally uncooked from inside while it was... This was a restaurant that was always on our list until last year when it changed and the previous owners retired and I believe returned to France. We didn't find the food so good it no longer had that french feel about it and this was reflected in the quality of the food.

Prepare to be overwhelmed if not terribly full by whatever you order here. Everything at Le Deauville seems to swim in butter, white sauce and pure heaven. If you're after a light meal, this is definitely not your place to be. Having come here for years despite the terrifying French manager (now replaced with a much sweeter French manager), I... More

Last week we had diner at deauville. My husband had veal and I had the coq au vin. My chicken was cold in the inside, but not raw. So it looks like, it was not prepared the same day, but probably preservered, and heaten up. With temperatures around 40 degrees in El Gouna, this may cause problem. The day after... More

An absolutely beautiful meal. We never usually order three courses but this time, despite full bellies, we couldn't help ourselves. They made a warm goats cheese salad so mouthwatering. Followed by Beautifully cooked salmon, lovely wine and very naughty dessert. Really good service, polite, quick, but not rushed. Highly recommend it!
