We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here during our stay. Not a lot of variety, but the food was tasty and plentiful. I liked the eggplant dish and the fish tajine.

While we did not spend the night here, we did rent a boat from the Eskaleh Eco Lodge and toured Lake Nasser. It was great to see the Abu Simbel from the water and explore the largest man-made lake in the world. The charge was 250 Egyptian pounds for 1 hour - 350 for two hours. When we returned, we... More

I was expecting to eat Nubian food, but what I ate was similar to what I ate elsewhere in Egypt. Fish was only 2nd grade in freshness. Okay value for 9 euro price tag. 1.5 litre bottle of mineral water costs 10 EGP.

This is a really good place for an overnight at Abu Simbel. It's basically a family guesthouse attached to a Nubian farm. Staff are nice, rooms are good and food is outstanding, some of the best I had in Egypt. Try the fish tajine. The overnight at Abu Simbel is a very special experience. If you get up very early... The lodge is a beautiful mud building decorated with funky hippi like lights and carpets, the location is wonderful set within a garden and a 10minute walk to the Nile. The food was yummy and definitely the best we have had in Egypt and so fresh as it is all from the garden and you can literally order it whenever... More

We were staying at the Eskaleh Eco Lodge, so it was easy to eat all of our meals here. Everything we ordered was excellent and made to our liking. The best part is you can order your food for anytime you want and you can sit absolutely anywhere in the hotel to eat it. One night we dined on the... More

We stayed at this so called eco lodge and were asked what we wanted to eat for dinner literally within minutes of arrival and check-in. My partner is vegetarian and a previous TA review had recommended the vegetable Tagine so we said we'd both have that. We tried to find out how much it would cost and were told 'less... More

It's a great place to spend the night in Abu Simbel, especially for those who prefer a small and quite boutique houses than larger hotels. Some rooms have balconies with a great view of Lake Nasser. CHEERS
