Bland and slow

We celebrated my mom's 86 birthday on Memorial Day weekend. Felt as if she turned 87 while we were there. It was the first seasonal weekend so the service, particularly the clearing of the check, as well as the quality of food could be attributed to the new staff. It would be worth another try, but... read more

Awful dinner. I got the linguini with marinara and meatballs. The salad that came with it was swimming in dressing, had maybe two grape tomatoes and what seemed like a full onion. My linguini was in a bowl in a large clump of pasta that was stuck together. The meatballs were OK. I don't recommend eating here.

We had a nice table with view of pool for a party of four. Asked the waitress what the specials were. She acted annoyed and pointed to a paper. Horrible grilled romaine. Pasta was very wet tossed with alfredo sauce? Three in our party received our entrees. All cold. One plate had a knife stuck under cold mashed potatoes. Fourth... More

I am a "local" and a pasta lover! I had wanted to visit Luigi's for some time. I see their advertisements...both in newspapers and banner planes going over the beach....and it always sounded so good. What could go wrong with a 'pasta 15 ways' meal?.... My dinner companion and I both had the pasta special...which was served with bread and... More

With 20 consecutive years coming, Luigi's restaurant has not disappointed. It has a comfortable Italian style atmosphere and consistent flavorful food. The chef, Jessie, does an excellent job preparing our meals. Our always exceptional server Sue Ryan is the main reason we keep coming back. Her friendliness, attentiveness and outgoing personality makes her a one of a kind server.

This place was originally recommended by friends and it didn’t disappoint! We enjoyed it so much we went two nights in a row. 2 things a must… make sure Chef Jesse's working and ask for our Server Sue Ryan, they were both amazing and made it well worth coming back again and again! The menu has something for everyone and... More

Our family made a reservation for 17 people to celebrate my father-in-law's 70th birthday. We arrived and the hostess wanted to seat us at 2 separate tables. We explained the reason we came to eat at the restaurant is that we were told we could all sit at one table. The wait staff was at first very accommodating and moved... More

Limited menu. Average taste- nothing special. Dinner salads were tasty as well as bread but entrees needed spices. Service was good

We were lured in by the advertised build your own pasta meals at an incredibly reasonable rate for Avalon. The restaurant was fairly empty on a Sat night at 7:00 in June. The paneled walls and early American tables and chairs were definitely dated. The room smelled a little musty. Service was a joke. The kids tried, they apologized, but... More

I ordered from this place and picked it up. I spoke to a very nice man who seemed to run the place. You can call from your room to order the food.
