Great grilled shrimp - everybody happy with dinner

The food was seasoned wonderfully but a bit on the expensive side. Dinner ran the four of us about $75 USD without drinks. The quantity was sufficient but the plates weren't large enough for two people to share. Service nice, bathrooms clean and atmosphere ok.

This meal was included on our tour, and consisted of a buffet with salad, the usual white rice, and extremely overcooked pork. The meat was very tough, and mostly bone. In an attempt to relieve the low spirits occasioned by the meal, we tried to order a couple of cocktails listed on the menu. We were told that they were... More

I had a blended mix of mango, papaya and pineapple at this place. So refreshing and inexpensive and it also offers free wifi which is fun if you want to log into Facebook.

The seafood dishes from the grill are very good here and come with a lot of salad. Wine is very expensive compared with other restaurants. Service is very friendly and fast.

At first we were hesitant to dine in this place, given it was completely empty at 7 PM. We didn't read previous TA reviews at that time so we didn't know it was highly rated. The octopus is to die for. We literally ordered grilled octopus every single meal and restaurant we've dined in Galapagos and hands down - this... More

Everything I've read in previous reviews about the octopus was true. It was incredibly delicious and meaty to the point where at first look we were question if it was chicken! It was very reasonably priced and came with sides.

The fish was a bit overcooked. But it was fun to sit nearly "on" the street to catch all the people and action going by as we ate. Including a 40ft boat being pulled by a homemade jeep!

We asked for the bill three times but were ignored, and when it finally came we had been significantly overcharged - which they admitted and apologized for but didn't fully refund. There are too many other good places around to bother with this one.

This was our second dinner in Puerto Ayora, and it did not disappoint! Cafe del Mar might offer other items, but anything from their grill is exceptional. We had a sampling of all their grilled meats, and it was delicious. Highly recommend! Note: Their seafood is on the pricier side, so stick with the meats and go to the Kiosk... More

We stopped in early for dinner (it's a short walk from the Galapagos Suites) and were the first customers there. The coals were still settling down and the grill and not been put on yet, so we settled in with a cold beer (kinda a must have with a fresh grilled dinner) ordered the above. Octopus for me and steak... More
