Vegeterian dishes available

Amazing quinoa with vegetables! There aren't many vegeterian options in the Island since main dishes are basically seafood, but this restaurant has a great option... Plus, the dish is very big so you'll, for sure, leave happy ;)

We stopped by on a night when the electricity was out on the main street. Very pleasant staff working as best as they could without electricity. We were in no hurry and enjoyed the fish! They were very accommodating. Waiter was very kind. Food was good!

I'm only writing one review of dining in Galapagos and the review is going to my best and most memorable dining experience. It was here at Garrapata. My girlfriend and I had been doing some pretty rugged travel and were looking for a place to have a nice dinner. We stopped here for the spiny lobster and it was fantastic.

Good food and finally vegetables and salads you can eat, with vinegar, pepper, olive oil. Offer also some vegetarian plates I had the grilled vegetable stick what needs some improvements. Remember you are here on a island where not all food is every day available. Therefore a very positive 5 points.

You gotta be kidding me... we read the reviews on this restaurant... best here and best there,..Well, not at all, the service was lazy and distracted, half of an hour to get the attention of the "surfing" waiter and almost two hours to get two grilled seafood platters and they came cold. The right recipe to destroy a food business.... More

Beers and wine were extremely cold which we loved. The sautéed octopus we ate was delicious. Side salads were fresh. Service is great. Only things to improve are that the fish dishes seem to often be unavailable and they don't like to switch the fans on so the air circulation could be better. We visited 3 times.

We've been here twice now while visiting from the USA. The first time was for appetizers and drinks, the waiter was unpleasant and not very friendly so we left. Came back for lunch a few days later and had a much nicer waitress named Silvana, who, was excellent and extremely friendly & pleasant. Her drinks were delicious! We had fresh... More

Lobsters are not featured on the menu but they do serve lobsters. They gave the option of USD 30, 35, 40. Cooking style is standard; garlic sauce. We were curious how big the USD40 lobster was, so we ordered that. Also ordered octopus in white wine sauce, probably USD20. We liked that too. They charge service charge and taxes.
