Il Giardino is an attractive bar near the tiny sea food market (complete with resident sea lions and pelicans) that operates on three different levels (all open air) and delivers decent, well priced fare. Over the course of three or four days, we enjoyed cocktails / beers, coffee (which is remarkably hard to find despite being in one of the... More

We went twice for dinner during our stay in Santa Cruz and really enjoyed our meals. There is a wide choice of food and everything we tasted was delicious. The atmosphere is cosy and the view on the bay and Charles Darwind street from the upper deck is lovely. They also have a very good ice cream parlour on the... More

The situation and decor of this restaurant is nice and it has a good atmosphere. The food was OK, nothing to write home about. We had mixed service, a girl who acted like she would rather have been somewhere else and a guy who clearly realised this and went out of his way to be excellent.

Ok, let's keep this short and sweet. Each bite rated 10. Fast efficient, value for money, varied menu, great ambience, would eat there every day if I could. Number 1. Do not read the reviews, just go there and order what you feel like. It will be a winner.

This place is great. They bring you little toasted bruschetta as a canapé whilst you order. The pasta and seafood is lovely and the desserts delicious. A 'must visit' whilst on holiday.

We ordered drinks, and the waitress brought out some espresso drinks when we ordered cocktails. No problem, it happens. But then she got snappy with us and blamed us for ordering the wrong drinks which we definitely different (my girl friend speak fluent Spanish so language wasn't the problem). The waitress proceeded to be passive aggressive the rest of the... More
