I ordered the veggie sushi which is $14. It included 4 pieces which at first glance my boyfriend and i thought only had rice in it. upon further inspection there was the worlds thinnest slice of cucumber in each piece. we ended up sending the food back and leaving. The other food might be good, but I strongly advise against... More

What an amazing place this is! Where else can you sit on a deck with a fantastic bay view surrounded by pelicans swooping in the water, marine iguanas sprawled on the deck, sea lions lounging on the deck chairs and wonderful food and drinks served tastefully by smiling waitpersons on a beautiful Galapagos afternoon!

Liked: The food was great, the beers served in ice-cold chunky beer glasses. The view from the deck straight onto the sea. We LOVED the sea-lion mom and her baby lying in the deckchair next to us!!! No one disturbed them which was wonderful. All the marine iguanas sunning themselves on the deck. Disliked: the price of the beer.

Went here on sat night and it was very quiet - just one other table who were clearly staying there (we watched their trip video which looked pretty awesome; their guide put some work into it). They offered us 2:1 for the buffet which was not something I expected as a sushi bar on a Saturday night. I have a... More

We stayed at the Aventura Lodge and liked the food so well we didn't go anywhere else. We couldn't beat the locals (sea lions, birds, marine iguanas) lounging on the deck outside the windows. The fruit juices were a real treat. We probably gained several pounds just downing those at every meal.

Food was fine, but it took quite a while to get our cocktails. The view was worthy all that waiting!

I had dinner there, bad expierience. First, they completly ignored me for quite a while. Then it took them over an hour to get a small sushi dish ready, although they where working on it with two chefs and there were just very few tables to serve. Food was ok though, just nothing special.

Looks fantastic, right on the seafront, sea lions and iguanas at your feet and a lovely room and terrace. Had a very expensive lunch buffet here, it was at best, average for the money. Could be so much better with a little more effort.

Rude staff was the primary reason. We had made our first reservations for a Saturday night but when we arrived we were told there was no sushi. They told us Monday for sushi so we made reservations for 7:30pm with our hotel information. When we arrived on Monday, they informed us that there was no sushi that night either. The... More
