We went to this place early for breakfast two times and loved the food both times. Each time we had the place to ourselves, perhaps because we arrived right at 8. The second time the staff was having their breakfast and we asked for some ice (hielo), and we overheard a member of the staff, a teenage girl, say "maricons,"... More

We asked if they made empanadas ...the waiter said "yes, cheese"., we said we were looking for a place that had beef or chicken. He said "it will take an extra 5 min." And so he made them fresh for us... 2 for $1.00. We assumed they were small so we ordered 2 beef and 2 chicken each....he laughed.. They... More

I started out eating breakfast here every morning, but quit when the matronly owner turned out to be an overbearing idiot. I quit eating there after that, even though they served a good breakfast for an excellent price.

The food was okay. The service was very good. It was late and we thought we would give it a try. Not as Italian as the flag would have you believe.

D'Anita has created a wonderful courtyard atmosphere for her restaurant. I had the special of the day which started with Ceviche, soup, juice, chicken with rice and beans and a lovely dessert. I will be back soon!

Great Ecuadorian restaurant which was recommended by friends. The tomatoes soup was piping hot just the way I like my soup. And was made with fresh tomatoes and thick and creamy. Hugh portion alone. My husband also had avocados and shrimp which was also excellent. Great service. I highly recommend you give it a try.

Went a few times for breakfast and lunch. They offer a simple breakfast and you can buy a great four course almuerzo for six bucks. The staff is wonderfully friendly. I enjoyed sitting out in the back patio area.

Nice little restaurant with good food and service. We prefer more local eats when traveling but this is a nice place to sit back and relax. A wide range of good food offerings

Friendly family run and family style restaurant featuring typical Ecuadorian food. Daily specials are good value at about $7.50 for a 4 course meal. We had shrimp ceviche, potato and chard soup, grilled chicken with marinated vegetable salad, rice and fries with strawberry preserves and ice cream. Pleasant surroundings.

Very nice place with a very convenient location on leather street. Great atmosphere with a nice courtyard with seating. Great service with English speaking owner. A very extensive menu with a wide variety of offerings. A little on the expensive side but very authentic and good. We tried el menú del día for $7 and were very impressed. We got... More
