Description: Gallagher's Steak House & Gallagher's Burger Bar have opened at The New Resort. The first Gallagher's opened in Manhattan, when Helen Gallagher, a former Ziegfeld Girl, & her husband, Jack Solomon, opened their dining room in 1927. Gallagher's Atlantic City has retained elements of the original. Dark cherry hardwood floors & paneled walls complement the dark leather booths. Hanging red-domed fixtures provide adequate light for the well-dressed customers. Gallagher's is a treasure for anyone who loves old photos of yesterday's stars. Gallagher's Burger Bar features gourmet burgers made from Gallagher's aged sirloin, the menu also includes a variety of salads and Kobe beef burgers. Enjoy the best burgers around while watching your favorite sporting event on our 10 flat screen TV’s. Located on the "Dining Level" of The New Resort, Boardwalk & North Carolina Avenue.

We dined at Gallagher's on October 6th, 2014. We ordered the filet mignon which was excellent and done perfectly and according to our request. The wine recommendation was very good. The service was top notch. It is defnitely a 5 star dining experience and worth the price.

I love great steaks and great steak houses, so after the server Billy suggested the $48 Cowboy Steak I was very surprised how average and bland it was. It was a nice 24oz cut, and a bit of seasoning could have made a big difference. Fortunately my wife loved her smaller steak with prawns and gorgonzola. Billy's attentive service, a... More

Been here several times before and found it to be excellent each of those times, the same on this visit. 8 oz filets were the entrees of the evening chosen by our group and each one was prepared as ordered, without exception. Salads were huge!, one could have easily fed 2 to 3 people. Side dishes each were split between... More

You won't be taking a gamble when you order the wonderful large Porterhouse or the equally delicious fillet mignon. A side of garlic mashed potatoes is an excellent go-with. The wine list is extensive and it's easy to find one that will go well with whatever entree you choose. Service was friendly, but less than professional. The ambiance is upscale... More

Service was excellent and so was the food. House Cabernet was also amazing. Looking forward to our next visit.

happy hour is from 5pm to 7pm. Wanted a Martini. During happy hour they only presented 1 choose of vodka and one gin. Bartender was brutal at best, and did not know how to make a chocolate martini, and really only knew one way, either gin or vodka. So we skipped happy hour. We had a great table for four... More

Two great meals, great service, good wine. If only the busboy didn't throw out the bone for my dog, Bob. Expensive but worth every bite.

My steak was way too big, but I ate it anyway because it was ridiculously tender and delicious. Probably one of the best steakhouses in Atlantic City and well worth the wait.

With faces of yesteryear adorning the walls, old world ambiance everywhere you look, we were remarkably undressed (but, so was most of the rest of the dinner crowd). The steaks were delicious, tender and cooked perfectly. Now, the price is certainly five star, but it is truly worth it. A really great meal, good service and a great night over... More

We ordered the aged prime steak and appetizers. I had asked for not pork bacon on my appetizer and it came with it on there. the aged prime steak was way over cooked. Both courses of our meal were sent back. the second time the steak came it was the same over cooked steak! The third time we just ordered... More
