A great, reasonably priced meal in Atlantic City!

We are locals and rarely go into Atlantic City but since we were already there for shopping, we walked up to The Pier to check out the restaurants. I went to that place for brunch and ordered salad, smoothies, egg benedict and Hammonton stack. Egg benedict was so tasty. Salad was OK but much bigger than expected. Pancake was average with lots of berries inside. The waiter was friendly and the atmosphere was modern and like familiar American Café. Some of the seats commands very nice beach view... More

When in Atlantic City, you really want to have a good quick meal. Sometimes, you don't want to go broke on the really high end places. Thats the time to hit happy hour and The Continental located on the Pier across (and accesible) from Caesars is the place. The menu for Happy Hour offers $5 appetizers and $5 drinks. A... More

Unique and a very nice setting. Wait staff was ok, patio furniture not very comfortable, but the view and fire pit were great. Chicken skewers we shared were awesome, crab cakes my wife had were full of crab meat, chicken on waffle that I had was quite a big portion, I loved it. Would definitely go again to try some... Stopped in for Brunch on a Saturday. Nice table and nice view. Ordered a Bloody Mary and a Mimosa. Then a coffee and 2 orders of huevos rancheros. The food came before the drinks - NOT GOOD. The waitress blamed a back up at the bar, but I suspect she was the delay since the ice had melted in the... More

We have attended The Continental thru the years and are never disappointed. The astronaut martini is a must for us (several are a must). The edge is rimmed with tang just enough to make you want to pucker. The portions are sizeable and meant for sharing. We see many make the mistake of over ordering. We normally stick to our... More

Was there this past Sunday and was not too impressed. We ordered crab cakes they were bite sizes and cold! I expected more since I read the reviews before on here. Service was attentive but too attentive and was getting to be annoying at one point.. We were seated on patio furniture...

Lunch at the Continental was very good. The Mexican City Mule was excellent -- just a small hint of heat at the back of the throat -- not overpowering. The french onion dumplings were different and quite tasty. The only minor issue were the potatoes served with the eggs benedict were overdone. The cuban and cheeseburger sandwiches were good and... This our second time eating here after staying at Caesar's on Labor Day Weekend. The French Onion Dumplings are to die for and one of the reasons we came back again. By far one our of favorite small plates! The fish tacos are wonderful, not too much but all fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation along with the Buffalo meatballs. So... More
