Description: Buddakan has been called “a temple of modern Asian cuisine.” But it’s also a testament to the possibilities of inspired design. Upon entering, the first thing one sees is the surreal Asian garden surrounded by multi-level archways and 25-foot trees that seem to grow through rocks, footbridges and the ceiling itself. The dramatic atmosphere and enchanting karma is enhanced by the presence of a gigantic Golden Buddha that watches over the entire restaurant from a head of a 24-foot communal dining room table. The menu portrays an innovative interpretation of Asian Cuisine that matches the ambience in terms of creativity, inspiration and its capacity to satisfy. A delectably imaginative fusion of Chinese, French and Asian styles that results in dishes that exotic yet comforting – all prepared with perfectionist attention to the smallest detail. Buddakan’s spectacular yet dreamlike ambience adds a new dimension to the array of destinations at the Pier at Ceasars.

I have heard for years how good Buddakan was and although we live in the Philly area and go out to eat a lot we had never tried it until now. While in AC we went to the one there. The food was great as was the service. I would definitely recommend the happy hour drink and appetizers, super reasonable... More

This place fits the bill for ambiance and taste. The food is very good. The prices although on the steep side are worth it as the atmosphere of this place is amazing.

Great experience: cool location, incredible atmosphere. Food and drinks are very good. A bit crowded but... It is Atlantic City and on the boardwalk.

The Buddakan is a trip to the exotic. We had the $60 tasting menu... lots..lots.lots of food. Just do it. Unusual food combinations take a twist on the ordinary. Definitely have the edamame ravioli...delish!!!

Looked up great places to eat in Atlantic City and this was amongst the top...i see why, the place was gorgeous. Food was beyond delectable. Drink were refreshing but do not be fouled you can taste a nice share of alcohol. Waiter was so very helpful in describing the menu options and assisting me in suprising my boyfriend with a... More

My parents were in AC for a convention and I joined them in the evening. Not "happy hour people", I decided to expand their horizons. They had a blast. The appetizers were fantastic. Another diner actually leaned over to suggest we try the edemame ravioli. What a tip. They were phenomenal, and filling. We sampled nearly every appetizer. The mushroom... More

Not our first visit here, food is always good. We order a variety of apps, salads, fried rice and share and we always want more! If you like to be social sit at the communal table in middle of restaurant or if you prefer privacy a booth is nice. Dom lights and unique decor make atmosphere cool and relaxing. Bloom... More

This was not the first time for me here in Buddakan in AC. No surprises. Mouthwatering dishes, excellent favors. This is a typical asian fusion restaurant with creative dishes. No dish I tried was average. You know the feeling, when you order a bit too much, and at some point, when you are already full and really cannot have any... More

As an exhibitor at the convention each year, our Friday night tradition is Buddakan. Inventive fusion menu never disappoints. Witty, efficient waitstaff. Side rooms are quiet and romantic, but I prefer to sit at a table "under the stars." Would not recommend the long center table unless you have a group of 25!
