My favorite restaurant at the Tropicana

Years ago my husband and I visited the Tropicana with some friends, and we tried Cuban food for the first time. We were hooked. Through the years , every time we visited the Jersey Shore, even if we weren't in Atlantic City, we made a point to stop in Atlantic City to eat at Cuba Libre. This trip... read more

The Food, decor and service was very good. It is a little on the expensive side. Restaurant stays open on weekends to transform to a night club.

This was our first stop at The Quarter on our night out celebrating a friend's birthday. We were a party of 8 and received excellent service at the bar while awaiting our table. The bartender was happy to provide us with samples of a variety of cocktails as well as recommendations. Upon being seated we were waited on promptly and... More

It was tough to book a dinner for 14 people at many restaurants in Atlantic City but Cuba Libre gave us several package options. The dinner and service were great! We weren't rushed and really able to enjoy our special night out.

Food and service was good. Our waiter did a nice job explaining the menu. We had items from the Tapas menu and enjoyed it. We thought it was somewhat expensive, however, when the food came we were surprised at the Tapas portion size. We got the 4 item combo, thinking we would need to get something more but WRONG!! For $29pp, my wife and I were treated to a 3 course meal which included great choices of appetizers, entrees , and a tasty dessert sampler. The kids menu was exceptional. The entrees were adult sized and the brownie sundae was a big hit.

Made a reservation for dinner after reading reviews on tripadvisor. The food was a bit pricey but tasted good. The service was good but not too friendly except for the hostess she was nice. Low lighting so it was romantic but made it hard to read the menu.

Cuba Libre didn't disappoint. We have eaten here before and this visit not only met the expectations from experience, it exceeded them. Our server was fantastic and he was able to provide some good suggestions. The food is good as always and their drinks are really good as well!. Looking forward to our next trip to AC and dining here... More

We decided to go back to Cuba Libre after having a positive experience in the past and once again they didn't disappoint. We had an amazing server who made some good suggestions. The food and atmosphere were great. Looking forward to going back soon.
