Tried White House for the first time. The place was crowded and the subs are huge. I had the ham, cappicola, provolone. Over all they were good, but the subs in North Jersey are better. They were similar to sack-o-subs in Bally's. I would return again but not wait in a long line.

I grew up in NJ, and now live in New England, where I can never get a real "hoagie." My advice for this place, good as it is for the hoagie-deprived, is to call ahead, and take out. Plan an "eat-in" casual supper in your room. You don't want to get caught in the hoards waiting to get in, so... More

We had a trip planned to AC and happened to watch a food show the night before we left that featured this spot as one of the best sandwich shops. We thought wow looks great let's check it out. It was amazing.. ordered their famous Italian sub and my bf got the chicken parm. Delicious Delicious Delicious. . The place... More

It is always a treat to come here whenever we visit Atlantic City. It is unique in its ambiance, has a fascinating history, wonderful characters working there, and the best hoagies, heros, subs, steak sandwiches to be found anywhere!

Okay--we know Italian hoagies and we have had the worst and we thought we had the best....until we tried White House Sub Shop! From the bread (foot and a half long) to the meats to the folks behind the counter....truly an experience that you don't want to miss when you're in Atlantic City. The hoagie was the best and we... If you like pickles on your sandwich, don't go here! They do have them at the Taj location. Supposedly they have never had pickles at this location. My sandwich would have been much better if I could have had pickles on it. Otherwise the sandwich I had was nothing special. Still better then Sack o Subs in Bally's. Even at... More

Heard great things about White House Sub Shop. Visited AC and stopped at White House before driving back to PA. This sub was probably the best I ever had. Don't know what they do but the taste was pure magic. I had a veggie sub with onion, mushrooms, pepper, hot peppers, lettuce, tomato & italian dressing. Don't even know how... More

Visited with wife and kids. Bread was hard and not what was ordered. Way over priced for what you get. I ordered 1/2 traditional Italian with oil, vin, mayo, peppers and seasonings. It comes and it's bread and meat with nothing else. I point this out to the server who was rude and she grabs my paper plate and "STICKS HER FINGER" into... More
