The last 3 years I have been in SJ on my birthday and for 3 years I spent that day at White House Subs. My pick - half Italian - half cheesesteak - it is huge and awesome. Just make sure you sit down and soak in the history by looking at the photos of all the famous people who... More

I got the famous Italian sub. It was awesome. A half sub is plenty to eat unless you are sharing . Don t forget the hot peppers.

The subs they have here at White House are nothing like I have ever eaten anywhere else. The regular Italian is my absolute favorite. I always loved as a kids to watch them make the subs and how fast they were at making them. It still fascinates me how they take out the inside of the sub roll to make... More

Definitely not the type of restaurant you would want to eat in, but great for take out. Subs are large and loaded. We got a half of an Classic Italian and split it. It was very good and enough for both of us.

I have been going to this restaurant my entire life from when I was able to chew a sandwich. It is the best hoagie, sub, hero, whatever you want to call it anywhere. There will always be a line, but do not fear, it moves fast and it is SOOOO worthwhile. The bread is the key & I think the... More

First, I have to say the food here is amazing! The bread was incredibly fresh and all of the sub toppings, including the meat, were outstanding. However, the staff is among the least attentive and least helpful of any restaurant I have ever visited. Expect no general pleasantries that one expects of the hospitality industry or any service besides sitting... More

I can't decide which of the two are better, so we usually get both. A half is a normal human portion. If you can order 20 minutes ahead of time for take out would be percentage play. Forget about trying to get a table at lunch. I cannot say one thing that stands out above the rest on the subs.... More

My husband and I did some research on restaurants we should visit on our first trip to Atlantic City and White House Subs looked liked a must eat place. Well we were not disappointed. It was so good we ended up eating there two different times. Both times we got the Ham Cappacolla, Genoa Salami & Provolone Cheese Submarine. Our... More

I have been going there for 20 years, and will admit to taking a 2 hour road trip, just to get a sub. Part of their success is the bread they use, delivered fresh several times a day. They hollow It out and then make the best sub you will ever have. Besides the classic Italian sub, their cheesesteak sub... More

If you are coming to Atlantic City and you don't come by the White House and get a hoagie you are missing one of the highlights of a trip here. I have not been to AC in 6 years but the first stop was the White House and it never disappoints. You can't improve upon perfection. The only thing that... More
