Great Italian food at the Borgata.

I went to Fornelletto for dinner with my husband on a recent trip to the Borgata. The place is always packed, so reservations are a must. Great ambience - you feel like you're in a dark wine cellar. The wine list is extensive, but quite expensive. The food is pricey, but really delicious. I... read more

Been here twice before. This time the service was again fine as well as the environment. The vegetable soup had veggies that were so overcooked they could be easily mashed. Then came the cheese ravioli. Again, overcooked to where they had virtually no texture. Absolutely the worst meal of the week.

Great restaurant that offers a burrata and salumi bar and great Italian dishes. Also, has a great wine list and surprisingly not expensive. We enjoyed it and had fun.

This was our first time to Fornelletto and we had a great time. First we loved the fact that this restaurant is off the casino floor you have to take the elevator or stairs down to the restaurant. In turning you completely forget where you are by the end of dinner. The waitress we had was very nice and had... More

Great looking restaurant that you go down into a large room with the wine cellar in glass. Tables are very close together and if you are next to a loud group you will have to shout to be heard, The menu is varied and the food quality in general is quite good, The wine list is heavy in Italian wines... This was our second visit. What a difference a season makes! On our first visit the food was excellent and the noise level was fine. However on this occasion the noise level was unbearable and we had to shout to each other. In fairness the restaurant is downstairs and the ceiling is low and it was fully booked. Anyway, our... Fornelleto is one of kind ! Located in a wine cellar at The Borgata, this fabulous restaurant is ultra consistent, offering the the best quality meats and fish, and hands down the best fresh mozzarella I've ever had ! Truly a gem, and the waitstaff is top notch. Wow is the word !

I suppose it is my own fault. I just expected more from this hotel. I gave this a three rating because it is a solidly middle of the road experience. Everything was fine, not exceptional. I feel like it did not meet my expectations for a Borgata dining experience. At the same time, I feel as though I might have... More

Went recently after James Taylor concert. Although restaurant is styled as a wine cellar -- was not offered to see a wine list. Curious.. Food was not bad -- not great -- I had porchetta which itself was quite good-- my wife had pasta dish and she said it was ok-- had salami and cheese array for appetizers -- again... More
