We had dinner this evening at Fish for the first time. My halibut was gray and mushy, for which the waiter then offered us a free dessert. At minimum they should have not charged us, but instead they insured that we will not return. Surprising from what looked to be a classy place.

My friends and I had a great experience while celebrating a friend's birthday. The service is excellent, atmosphere elegant, with unusual choices on the brunch menu. This is our favorite place for a birthday brunch celebration!

We ventured in twice during the month during weekends at the shore, and in the off-season. Wonderful service - perhaps it is the lack of seasonal pressure, but the servers and bar staff were really careful and attentive. At the raw bar, we enjoyed a bit of conversation with the staff and learned much about the place and a little... More

A friend and I went to Fish for the first time last night. It was the closest I've ever been to a perfect dining experience! Upon entering we were greeted warmly by the owner, who offered to hang our coats, and then seated us in a booth in the dining area. The bar is separated from the dining tables by... More

My partner and I had Sunday brunch here December 01. We were late in arriving, but the host kindly offered us brunch menus anyway. I had the Eggs Benedict over Brioche and my partner had the Lobster Omelette. Both were quite tasty. The service was fine and we did not feel rushed at all. When we needed to leave for... More

The happy hour drink prices are great. Beer for $3, Wine for $6 and some mixed drinks like sangria for $6. Those are great prices, and they are accompanied by great prices on happy hour appetizers as well. However, the appetizers were not great from our experience. We ordered crab dip and lobster mac and cheese. The crab dip was... More

We went to Fish on a Sat. night during restaurant week. Two of our party ordered the seafood risotto entree. To say it was disappointing would be an understatement. The menu indicated the risotto contained shrimp and scallops. It sounded like a great choice for a seafood restaurant. When the entree came I looked at it in disbelief. There was... More

The restaurant is located in an old bank building in downtown Asbury Park. I expected many of the details of the old bank to be remaining in the restaurant but, except for the vault, not much was there. The room was nice but nothing special and it seems the owners crowded in as many tables as possible. Going to the... More

I went with my Mother and Aunt because we were in Asbury Park for a show at The Paradise Night Club and we stayed at The Empress Hotel. Fish had a great menu with a raw bar and was in walking distance from our hotel. I am in a wheelchair and Fish was accessible through a back courtyard not the... More
