On par with area restaurants

Ate at Fish for the first time last night. First impression is a very noisy restaurant with typical urban dining decor. Greeted by no less than four hosts; two men and two ladies. Very friendly and sat us quickly (we had reservations). Insanely decadent corn bread madelines served in a metal bucket... read more

The atmosphere here is great. Servers and even customers are just wonderful. You can be part of a conversation and even make friends while enjoying delicious food .... from appys to entrees. The fish is fresh and prepared in creative ways. Enjoyed a long happy hour on a Thursday with $6 appys, wines and cocktails.

Went for Sunday Happy Hour with $6 drinks & apps. We ordered basically everything off the app menu. The best apps were the ribs, orange cilantro wings, mako sliders - they were delicious. Ribs and wings had a good size portion for $6. The server topped it off with a brownie sundae with a candle for my birthday. The service... More

We finally got to go for dinner, the staff is what makes this restaurant wonderful, we only had a limited time there but as nice as it felt we had too many people come to our table to ask if everything was alright. the appetizers were good but the Main Course was expensive & very small. I don't think we... More

I went here for my mom's birthday and we loved our dinner! It's also located right in the heart of downtown Asbury Park, which means you're surrounded by fun things to do and see before and after stopping into Fish.

This restaurant (and especially Happy Hour in the bar area) is excellent every time we go. Sometimes we stop on a day in the middle of the week for small plates and 1/2 price wine and cocktails. Sometimes we go with a few couples on a Saturday for dinner. It never disappoints. Servers are friendly and efficient. Lobster mac n... More

Always wanted to try this place and did on restaurant week. Food was very good not a lot but we had shrimp scallops calamari and fish that were all prepared well, shrimp over cooked though. Drinks were good also I can see the prices are up there when not restaurant week.. Asbury Park prices are up there like SOHO NYC... More

While visiting the Neptune, NJ area we decided to try this restaurant for our anniversary. It was very easy to make a reservation earlier and the table we were given was in an ideal place. From the initial seating to receiving our menu choices, this was an very enjoyable and memorable dinner. The staff was attentive including the Manager who... More

Went to FISH last evening to celebrate a friend's birthday and we were able to dine in the vault due to size of our party. Ambiance was nice and not too loud. Red sangria was good. Meals were grossly overpriced and the portion size left me yearning for the turkey and stuffing patiently waiting for me in my refrigerator at... More

Like I need to be asked to have a drink at the bar while waiting, 5 times!! Seriously? Then when we did get drinks during our meal, some were good, but some very weak! Just stick to the beer. As for the risotto, don't offer it if you don't know how to make it right. No need to throw away... More
