It is what it is, and they are good at it.

Old school deli restaurant. There is nothing fancy about it. It is very well run. We had breakfast. We were waited on quickly. The food came fast and, was hot and good. My only complaint is their coffee isn't very good. I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

This place looks rather small and has an anonymous exterior, however the interior is larger than expected, and there were at least 9 employees behind the counter when we arrived at 13:30 hrs. The seating is in wooden benches, arranged in boots, and there are a lot of photos of old (and newer) events on the wall. There were some... More

No matter what you order it is good and will be next time as well. Friendly staff good selection of breakfast or lunch items. It's an old fashioned kind of place. We get lunch there every other week. Never disappointed.

My husband and I spent the day in Asbury Park and had "lunch" at Frank's deli. It was excellent! It's a typical diner and it was packed. Despite how busy it was, we were seated immediately at a booth and our waitress was friendly and efficient. My husband had the club sandwich with a heaping pile of French fries. I... More

I moved to asbury last year and immediately started visiting Frank's. It is true, to the bone classic diner/deli. I love coming here for breakfast. Everything off the griddle is just so tasty! They donuts are absolutely to die for, as well as the fresh OJ. I dream about their home fries! They offer much more than breakfast but I... More

We enjoyed Frank's Restaurant on the recommendation of a few locals. The place has a fun diner atmosphere combined with the shore experience. The quality is pretty good and the pricing is what you would expect from a diner; not expensive. I had a seafood platter for brunch and really enjoyed it. My friend had a breakfast dish and enjoyed... More

Used to go here when I was in high school in the '70s; had breakfast with my mom and high school best friend. We all had the pork roll, eggs, hash browns and toast platter. All good, 3 pieces of pork roll, eggs done perfectly. Good coffee. Gia was our waitress and she was very friendly and nice. They do... More

Frank's is an often hectic, cash only, greasy spoon and it is amazing. One of the few places that has survived in Asbury through the less fortunate years. It is the kind of place that if it ever goes away we have lost something as a people. No, I'm not kidding. Frank's is a bacon and eggs place. Nothing fancy.... More

Have eaten breakfast here many times and it's always been good. Had lunch today a cheese burger with fried onions which was awesome on a homemade roll. Also a grilled cheese with bacon on their homemade rye bread and I think it was best grilled cheese I ever had! The bread really made the Sandwich. They sell breads and bagels... More

If you were driving down Main Street in Asbury Park and didn't know about Franks, chances are you would just keep driving. However, you must take the time to stop and eat here. Everyone is very friendly. Food is excellent...their pork roll, egg and cheese on their own baked poppy seed rolls is simply the best. We took home two... More
