Simple diner fare, but with a little Asbury flair. Rock art on the walls, great old photos. Staff is good, and the food is rock-solid. Nothing fancy, but filling and inexpensive.

Absolute best breakfast in the area hands down. Everything from breakfast omelettes to open faced lunch sandwiches are delicious, come hungry leave satisfied! Nothing compares. Grew up down the street and now live in Colorado, absolutely nothing out here is even half of what franks is.

I've only lived in Asbury for 6 years and I'm shocked I haven't discovered this place sooner. It wasn't until I started working in Kitchens around AP that I heard about it.. It's now my new favorite spot.. Food is delicious, it's always packed (which is an indication the food has to be good), friendly faces, and the best bang... More

Frank's in Asbury Park is a locals place (I am a local.) where you see many of the same people whenever you come in. Friendly staff, great breakfasts and lunches, like eating at home. Started in the early '60s and has not changed much. Family owned and operated.

I have been eating at Franks for years and it is still the best for breakfast and lunch. I can not say enough about the service and all of the staff. Everyone is wonderful!

The first time a friend brought me to Frank's I was a little hesitant. Since then, I've eaten at Frank's about 200 times. I love the corned beef hash and eggs, and the lunch sandwiches are ridiculous. They make egg salad to order! And the jelly donuts are craveable. Love the house made turkey breast with cole slaw and russian... More

Don't judge a book by its cover. Sure, from the outside, Frank's might not look too appealing. It's facade dated. But inside some magic is happening. This place is a good old fashioned deli. Now, I can't really comment on all of the various food they serve here. I've been told everything is awesome from friends who have sampled the... More

First of all, I loved my first breakfast at Frank's soooo much I went 3 days in a row. The difference is that I ate at the counter the first 2 days (recommended) and the 3 day I decided to wait for a table with 3 friends. Well, I understand the wait (almost an hour for the Labor Day holiday... More
