The breakfast/bunch at Toast is almost single-handedly enough to make me want to be a local. While a touch more expensive than your average similar place, there's a lot of love in what they put on the plates here. The staff is totally cool and the place has a great vibe too. I cannot recommend it enough.
Located on the main strip of downtown Asbury Park, this is a great breakfast spot. All the favorite breakfast items are on the menu, eggs, omelets, all kinds of pancakes and challah french toast. We split orders of the buttermilk pancakes and the challah french toast. They were big, delicious portions. And, by the way, the coffe is really good... More
We went here for brunch and it was great. There was a bit of a wait, but they text you when your table's ready. The atmosphere is really cute and the California scramble was very good. We also got an order of ruben sliders for the table and I would highly recommend. It was everyone's favorite.

Went to this adorable place a couple of weekends ago. Very cool, really good vibe. We enjoyed the food, but our waiter was even more enjoyable. He was attentive without being overbearing and very pleasant. The breakfast sandwich made on a biscuit was DELISH!! I know what you're thinking... A biscuit???? But really people, splurge a little you will not... More
Went for brunch on a weekend - it was perfectly fine. I'm from NJ, and know my way around a diner. The food is good, but nothing special or spectacular, and certainly isn't worth waiting 45 minutes for on a crowded weekend. I didn't think it lived up to the hype. Service was friendly enough, but it wasn't notable. I... More
My bff woke me from a sound sleep to see if I wanted to go here for breakfast and I'm so glad she did! We met another friend who was already seated when we got there (9am on a Sunday, no trouble parking, and other patrons were being seated right away). Our server was great...attentive, friendly, funny :) Brought us... More
My girlfriend and I ate here last Monday at a friend's recommendation. I ordered the "bella nutella," a french toast stuffed with nutella and topped with strawberries. There was hardly any nutella in it, the strawberries were old, and the french toast was hard to cut and chewy. My girlfriend ordered pancakes, which were mediocre. I will try them once... More
