I really enjoyed eating breakfast at Toast. When visiting my daughter in Asbury, I found Toast and often ate my breakfast there. The service is good and the food is tasty. I love the tofu scramble and the omelets. It is a very relaxed and comfortable place with great food and coffee.

My group and I were hooked by the idea of grilled cinnamon buns as a starter, though, they looked like regular cinnamon buns. Either way, it brought us in to the restaurant. There was a bit of a wait and they lost power for a few seconds. The food was decent, the atmosphere was nice (we sat in the back... More

Toast is a foundation of the "restaurant row" alone Cookman in Asbury. Hard to imagine how popular a place that only does breakfast and lunch can be, but this place does both in a spectacular fashion. Pretty good size menu with plenty of choices, but as you look around, you will see pretty much everyone having the same things. We... More

Title says it all. The vanilla lattes are great as well. I had the lobster roll on my last visit and it was delish but as usual ridiculously expensive for a tiny amount of lobster. My daughter also loves this place but never strays from the chocolate chip pancakes. I'll be back soon!

Toast is one of the success stories anchoring the revitalization of downtown Asbury, 4 blocks west of the boardwalk. Brick walls, tattooed waitresses, and a few unusual menu items (ex. red velvet french toast) that we've never failed to enjoy. Beware the odd parking rules on that section of Cookman.

Tried Toast this morning with a friend. A Monday morning, perfect day no crowds kind of experience. Big plus, free handicap parking right in front. Big plus several tables available on sidewalk. Quick and friendly service. The menu had variety but lacked excitement. If I can make my mind up and not say-"gee I'd like to try so many things... More

A little walk from the boardwalk but well worth the effort. The service was friendly and quick. The food was hot and delicious. Great value for the money.

I went here with my wife on Father's Day. The wait was long and then we found out we could have eaten right away outside. Bad communication on someone's part. I started out with a root beer float. For $ 4.00 it was really small. So was the stuffed french toast. It was good but the Red Apple outside Chicago... More

Went to toast on Memorial Day. Short walk from the Berkeley Hotel and we always see people waiting so you know it's good. It did not disappoint. Food was great. Their in-house Hot Sauce is fantastic and we purchased a few to go. The server didn't know they sold it there but when we asked someone that looked like the... More
