Made reservations and drove a good half hour to celebrate a special birthday for my spouse. A Happy Birthday would have been a nice thing to have started off with from the hostess but it had not been acknowledged at all nor by anyone for that matter! They sat us in the bar area which I thought was odd being... More

Service was great as was the presentation but food was disappointing. I had Seafood Fra Diavolo, wife had the Pasta Bolognese friends had Stuffed Veal Chop, Brando Pork Chop and Ossobuco. I was tempted to send mine back and one other person in our party did, but others looked like they were enjoying their meals and I did not want... More

We had a great time from the moment we stepped through the door. Our waiter Dylan was wonderful. The food is outstanding. Sunday gravy is not to be missed. Also the gnocci with 3 sauces was amazing. Can't wait to go back. Don't skip dessert. They're terrific.

I live in Boston, when I visit my friends in Monmouth County, I always make sure we go to Brando's. My favorite Italian restaurant! The food is superb, great wine selection, great service and great atmosphere. Great package!! I was there this past Saturday with four of my friends and we all had an excellent meal, no complains. Is unfortunately... More

My fiance and I took his mother out for her bday this past Saturday night. We were a party of 6 with reservations. The appetizers we ordered were pretty decent, meatballs, calamari, the prosciutto with a couple of olives and a small piece of burrata cost us $19.00!!! BTW there were only 2 pieces of prosciutto. Ridiculous!! The dinners were... More

As an owner, like any owner, wants his guests to leave feeling satisfied not only with the food but with the service and the way management treated them if an issue did arise. Everyone has a right to their opinion and just as all opinions are subjective so are peoples perceptions. I will begin by stating unequivocally that the veal... More

Brando's is our favorite restaurant in the area. My fiance and I are 29 and 32 to give you an idea of our demographic. They give you fresh bread, with marinated olive oil and homemade ricotta, complimentary for your meal. I don't normally eat bread at restaurants but this is WELL worth it. I always get the same drink (vodka,... More

Relied solely on other review's for this dinner as we are not from the area. Got a bit lost and we were a few minutes late for our reservation and were still seated immediately on a busy Friday night. Waiter was great and the food was super delicious. I had the Linguini Sinatra which was extremely packed with flavor. My... More

It was a wonderful evening with Italian music in the background. The bar area was crowded for a Thursday night. Our waiter "Bobby" was amazing. The Sinatra linguini had a fabulous sauce. The rigatoni was a huge portion and delicious flavor. You need to leave room for dessert !! We had the pistachio ice cream cake with a graham crust... More

Anytime I am asked to recommend a restaurant I send people to Brando's. It's got a touch of NY atmosphere, great service and an awesome menu. The polenta and spedini are the most delicious appetizers. They have a great wine list too. The bar is great so get there before your reservation or stay for a drink after dinner.

My wife and I visited Asbury Park late Friday afternoon to see a movie, "A Trip to Italy," about a road trip to various regions of Italy. The movie, among other things, showcased mouthwatering Italian cuisine in each region visited. Upon leaving the theater, we were ravenous for some real Italian cuisine. The theater manager recommended Brando's, just around the... More
