Very good food, hold onto your wallet!

My wife, daughter and future son-in-law went to Jimmy's while on a scouting mission to find a location for my daughter's wedding. Jimmy's came highly recommended. The food did not disappoint but I was surprised by the high prices. Even in NYC you rarely pay $29 for a veal parmigiana dinner. I... read more

Wife and I saw ad and had to go. Reminds me of the restaurants in my Italian neighborhood in the Bronx. This place is great! Great food, friendly staff and valet parking. I had veal parm and it was as good as my grandmother's. Well almost. Had a clam appetizer special, 2 oreganato, 2 casino and 2 crab stuffed. Fantastic.... More

It's been years....but wow...the food was fantastic!! The surrounding area continues to question going there, but now there is a valet parker. Antipasto was great, so was pizza and double stuffed lamb chop with fontina cheese!!! Still a classic@@

I returned to Jimmy's for the second time. It has been three years since I made it to the Jersey Shore but I remembered good food at this restaurant. I brought 2 friends for their first experience. The hostess was friendly over the phone "see you soon hon". We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere with the bar and comfortable booth seating.... More

Have been eating at Jimmy's for 25 years and it always has been really very good. Prices are a little high, service is excellent. Its the kind of place you want to go back to because the food is consistently good. The back room does not have the best atmosphere so if available you should try to be seated in... More

I love going to Jimmy's. Old school completely and excellent food. Nick makes the BEST martini ever! Any Italian would love it here, just saying. Ha Ha, seriously though, go there to "dine," enjoy your company and the great food.

Good old school Italian. We ordered lobster ravioli, linguine with white clam sauce and ziti bolognese, all very good. For apps we had the clams casino and clams oreganato, both very tasty. The tiramisu for dessert was excellent. Would recommend Jimmy's for a good Italian dinner. Parking is on premises and valet. The person taking my reservation was not the... More

Classic old school Italian. Nice staff very helpful and pleasant. The portions were huge, but just ok. My starter was over cooked and the pasta was swimming in so much sauce it was a bit overwhelming. But they seem to always be busy and the locals seem to like it.

Jimmy's was recommended by several co-workers for a birthday dinner. We had an average meal, 2 appetizers, nothing special, a great salad served family style, and 3 satisfactory meals. Mahi mahi special was OK, a little dry, Stuffed sole was average as the stuffing was pretty much tasteless, Shrimp parmesan was good, very tasty cheese and sauce. Our server was... More
