You'll Not Want "Regular" Pizza Again!

Fabulous pizza and salads! We've visited twice in the last month and are now addicted to their pizzas. Fresh ingredients on sourdough with wonderful combinations of flavors. Highly recommend sampling several of the delicious selections on their menu!

My boyfriend and I ate dinner here this past weekend. It was a Sunday night, so there was no wait. We sat at the bar and talked with one of the bartenders, Paul. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and the area. We ordered two Gin and Jams before dinner, yummy! It was refreshing and different. We... More

A great new alternative eating place! Healthy and delicious!!! All food locally sourced. But, don't let the name fool you! Not only is your choice of pizza creative and delicious, their gluten free bowl options and salads were a great surprise. Talula;s is now a regular on our dining out list!! Oh yea, make sure to leave room for their... More

I loved the kale ceasar salad. It would have been great with some chicken or salmon on it but I shared the salad and a pizza. The pizza crust was a little burnt but still good. They do not have any beer other than craft beer and it is very pricey! I ordered one at the bar and got a... More

What a delight to have the pleasure of eating at this charming, creative, energetic, natural, wholesome restaraunt. Cookman street you are so lucky!!! We adored every bit of our dinner and cried for more when it was gone. My daughter Melissa was so excited to eat the great food that she told the world on facebook. She is in love... More

My husband and I were passing through Asbury Park and were looking for a restaurant that serves vegetarian options. Talulas was one of those and we ended up ordering the Nettle Polenta Bowl (polenta, goat cheese, ground nettles, and fried egg) and the Rice Bowl (basmati rice, fiddleheads, pumpkin seeds, herb sauce, and fried egg). Both were delicious. The place... More

All their ingredients are fresh and mostly "organic" Their salad dressing is amazing! We each ordered a pizza, mine was a margherita style with basil, the other a white pizza. Both were tasty and unique but $66 for two pizza's and a salad is a little pricey in the pizza business. Parking was also a challenge.

We’ve been anticipating trying Talula’s since we heard talk of it some months ago. We finally got there, and it was everything we had heard and then some. It is a small space with a nice bar on one end, facing a wall of exposed brick. Some of the seating is shared long tables but we were lucky to be... More

Because of some of the reviews we read, my wife & I decided to order a pizza on a Friday night in May 2015. We sat outside on one of the few tables just outside on the sidewalk. It felt great to be outside being the weather was so nice. But the pizza was just ok, not great. The pizza... More

An imaginative menu executed superbly surprised me. I don't think 'pizza place' does Talula's justice. The spud spring pizza has delicious potatoes on top of layers of cheese and crust. One of the best pizza combos I have ever tasted. The New Yorker made good use of a topping of provolone. The desserts were incredible: a stracciatella ice cream cookie,... More
