Description: We are the best and only restaurant for travelers in Medellin. Look for the 2 big yellow umbrellas and 3 tables out front. I have a great little place that serves good (non-Colombian)food. We serve a great breakfast with eggs, pancakes, french toast, and even home fries. We have best buffalo sauce in Medellin,a new burger that tastes like home, and the best wings in town. All with cheap beer to go with it :o) The other thing I offer is great tourist information. So, for tourists and backpackers, I am a great spot. If you are looking for fine dining or gourmet food, I am not your place.

We saw this in a guidebook and went for a late breakfast one morning. The food was prepared very quickly but neither of us were very impressed with the food. I had an omlet that had many things in it but remained bland. The prices were also not as low as we anticipated due to the guidebook review. Seemed comparable... More

My original review seems to have disappeared. But, this restaurant is a great place to go on your first day in Medellin. The owner, Chris, is very happy to tell you the best spots to visit in Medellin (and where not to venture). He even took me with him on the Metro train to buy his secret ingredients for his... More

I can remember when this had a much higher placing in the TA charts for Medellin. In truth it's a tiny little place with a chalkboard outside. My experiences are a little mixed. Every time I ask for the chicken salad sandwich I am told that it was so popular it has all gone (hint to management - make more!)... More

I am not a big fan of the burgers in Colombia. So it was nice to get an American style burger from here. It came with curly fries. I also had a bottle of water. Everything was less than 10 dollars. It is very small with probably 4 tables inside and two tables outside. So you may have to get... More

Went here for breakfast with my wife, expecting an authentic american breakfast but only was a cheap regular one. Definitely, it is not only about having a "gringo" owner, it's about selection of good ingredients and good cooking, both of them absent in this place.

Was looking for a simple place for breakfast and found this one. The breakfasts are overpriced and the menu poorly thought out, but I went for the pancakes and a hot tea. Simple. Twenty minutes later when I was just beginning to wonder when the food might come, the waitress came and asked what I'd ordered. Great. Finally got my... More

The Flip Flop continues to be a terrific English-speaking hang-out offering authentic American fare. When you've had more than enough Arepas and you need some home-cooking for breakfast, (served all day) lunch or an early dinner it's THE spot in Medellin. And now, with the addition of TIO GRINGO soft pretzels, it's about as American as it gets. Cinnamon/sugar or... More

We stopped in here after seeing tier claim for the best wings in town. They are right, they are also some of the best wings when compared to my town in the USA as well. Great job guys! Though my favorite part of dining here is the server handing me some gloves to eat with, I was perplexed at first... More

My friend and I stumbled upon this place on our first morning in Medellín. They serve tasty and generous portions of American-style breakfasts and burgers, wings etc. Reasonably priced also. Most notably the owner and staff are very friendly. They gave us a map of the city, then sat with us and gave a few recommendations of sights/activities to do... More

I stopped here craving a sandwich. It looked perfect for my needs. As I stepped inside I was greeted by extremely friendly servers, who were also prompt! I ordered the chicken (not salad) sandwich, which by all intents and purposes was indeed a chicken salad sandwich, but hey it was pretty okay! I are sat and people watched then left.... More
