Based on the reviews we thought we would give it a chance, BIG MISTAKE!!! Really if you want to go you better be able to speak Fluent Spanish!! With this place being in a tourist area you would think that there would be at least an english section on the menu or a semi-english speaking staff to help. Not only... More

We revisited this restaurant with my wife as a couple of years back we have had a really good experience. What a disappointment this time. Frozen food cold in the inside. A Spanish restaurant with no chorizo or Serrano. The octopus we ordered was canned not fresh. And the paella was over spiced. All in all I wouldn't recommend this... More

Although the food was Okay the service was terrible. Didn't think it would be so hard to get wine in a wine bar. Only one other table in the restaurant and they forgot peoples orders and ignored members of the group who didn't speak good spanish. Every time we ordered wine the waitress disappeared for 20 minutes. Had to chase... More

The experience at the restaurant can only be described as magical. We had the honor of meeting the chef and owner, Juan Jose, who shared with us his personal passion for food and wine. The wine cave is beautiful so their wine list is extensive and very well chosen. We had Olive Oil Ice Cream with Candied Olives. I was... More

We arrived and the restaurant was very pretty. Lovely waitress. Ordered a great bottle of wine. We then ordered 6 tapas dishes. The patatas bravas arrived first. Clearly microwaved with cold patches in the middle. We then waited at least 45 minutes for anything else to arrrive. It was only brought when we explained that we wanted the dishes at... More

Very poor wines by the glass. First was sour, second slightly better. Third choice was a Chardonnay that was quite good but, two strikes out of three.....bad. The tapas I ordered were deprived and horrible for the price charged. I'll never make this mistake again.. Go next door to Saloufor a truly great meal albeit expensive for Columbian standards.

We loved the decor and feel of this restaurant. The service was very kind and attentive. The traditional Spanish foods were great. Some of the fried foods were pretty boring- so stick to what they are known for. The tinto verano was delicious- a great way to cool down and relax after a long day. Be sure to check out... More

Wandered in for dinner. Sangria with crushed ice served to start, refreshing. The waiter then recommended a Chilean syrah to go with our choice of paella with lobster. Wow what a great dish & great wine. Desserts, choose the Chef's selection of three. The olives on ice cream is so bizarre but totally successful. Service attentive, knowledgeable, friendly & a... What a great lunch. This was our lunch stop on our Segway/Culinary Tour of Cartagena and we LOVED it. Chef Juan prepared lobster, coconut rice and plantains tableside and really gave us a taste of what the food of Columbia was all about- WE felt very welcome and the restaurant itself is beautiful old brick = LOVED IT and would...
