We had really big expectations when we arrived but to be honest was not as we hoped . They had a guy with a list out side the door checking if you had reservations , a line up of desperate people trying to get in like if that was the only restaurant in the city. When we in the decor... More

If you are in Cartagena, you need to go eat here before you leave! My entire group of friends all ordered different entrees and we were each blown away by how good ours was. The service and music also added to the experience. After having a lot of seafood, I got the tournedos of beef which were fantastic and covered... More

This restaurant is amazing. I ordered the Grouper Garam Masala and it was the best fish dish that I have ever had. The coconut pie for desert was also amazing. Nothing bad to say about this perfect restaurant with an awesome "old Cuba" atmosphere.

We had great food, service and music. It was not stuffy as I anticipated, but friendly and just plain cool. We had ceviche, Tuna carpaccio, overpriced wine like in all Cartagena restaurants, steak, and pasta. All superb.

We all get an opinion. Zarzuela best i ever had. Ceviche so so. Main dishes spot on. Waitstaff engaging but tried a bit too hard. I would go back.

Made a reservation weeks ago for lunch and we were seated by the bathroom. Other people came in after us and were given menus -- we had to ask. They have us bread but no bread plates and we had to ask. The food was ok, but not fantastic and the prices were high. My husband had the grouper --... More

My boyfriend and I went here as our major "fancy" dinner on our trip to Cartagena. His boss comes to Cartagena often to visit family and recommended this place highly. However, we were sorely disappointed. To start, we ordered a bottle of Torrontes, then the waitress came back and said she give us the wrong menu, but that they had... More

Ignore anything other than the 5 star reviews. We went with a little trepidation because of some comments below but this place exceeded those by far. The service is pristine, tranquil, as good as any I recall. The atmosphere of this corner colonial labyrinthine restaurant and bar is super relaxing. We had the ahi tuna tartar and the ceviche camarones.... More

This was the best meal I've had on both my trips to Cartagena. I have no complaints. Very relaxing and not a care in the world when you're there. Mojito was spot on. Service, food, atmosphere and music were all fantastic. I had the grouper with special herb sauce (per recommendation) and I don't know the last time I've eaten... More
