We had a great time here. We had a friendly, informative, and attentive waiter. The food was excellent--a tuna carpacchio for the ages followed by a perfectly cooked and sauced corvino. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed and the music's great.

Anyone who visits the nice old-twon of Cartagena and enjoys good food should have a visit at La Vitrola. I was there 2 times and I can really recommend this restaurant. It´s cuban style and especially the seafood is a highlight. It´s better to make a resevation before, otherwise it can be not so easy getting a table.

Another one of those supposed must go to places...that knows it is a touristy must go to place. Pop your head in and then go to a fun place nearby...and there are many to chose from in this dynamic town. Seek and ye shall find.

We eat here every time . Young men must wear long pants & no flip flops expensive & pretensive, part of the fun. The atmosphere, people watching , call girls included & service make it worth it. We stick to the Italian dishes & eat seafood elsewhere. Live music icing on the cake.

OK let's be fair, cannot give less than 3 stars for the food. BUT for the price you can do so much better in Cartagena. Seems like the whole 'legendary halo' around La Vitrola makes the staff and the atmosphere visibly pretentious. Lovely restaurant with excellent service and delicious food. TMy wife's grouper dish was the specialty of the house. My ropa vieja was good, too . Elegant atmosphere.

We had a good dinner experience. Good service, very good seafood. Nice ambient, the day we went there was live Cuban music.
