Went to demente cause a friend told me about the mango biche juice. Juice was pretty good and the place it's really nice , great design. We ordered 5 tapas but sadly the food was not good at all. It was a big disappointment , the burger patty was raw. Also the papas bravas were pretty awful. Hope they bring... More

Food here is really superb! Love tapas style, you get to try a lot. Everything we had was delicious. Afterwards we sat on the rocking chairs oitside, had a drink with.a Cuban cigar. The atmosphere of this place is crazy good! Just the coolest hipster joint evet. Hipster I say, but its really for everyone! <3

After 12 days in Cartagena, we can unequivocally say this was our favorite bar. If you like bars ---I'm talking bars not clubs---please go to Demente. The booze is top shelf, they use the proper glasses, use good ice, play really great music and the owner and staff are very cool. We never ate, but based on looks, the food... More

Located in the hipster part of town - Getsemani. This is by far one of the coolest places I have been to as of late. The decor is about as cool, trendy, rustic as it gets. The menu is limited but for a good reason, only the best local ingredients are used. You can't go wrong with any of the... More

Food, decor, location, service . The word Master mind comes in to play. One of my favorite places to go. If going with at least 4 people dont even look at the menu. Just ask them to bring the whole thing

We found ourselves comparing the easy vibe and inventive menu with what you might find in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Nice proprietor, well-edited menu and yes, rocking chairs! We ordered a bunch of dishes so we could share and sample: oxtail slider, grilled octopus, ribs, shrimp bruschetta, etc. Even topped it off with a bottle of rose given the hot temps and... More

Yes, it is pricey, but it is the real deal. This is the future of where Cartagena is moving to. Chic and Real. So, leave your Prada shoes and Ralph Lauren shirt at home, get relaxed have a drink by the side walk and enjoy the great music.

We adored Demente.. Super cool environment with Bossa Nova, Jazz & Blues whispering in your ears. The building itself is was saved & restored by the owner, Nick, who is very friendly, courteous and totally hands on. His recommendations on Tapas, wine & top quality cigars was right on; the grilled queso with an onion marmalade was my favorite; my... More

For a backpacker area this bar is way too expensive - walked past three times and it wAs always near empty. Paid cop 112,000 for three very mediocre tapas (tiny portion) and a bottle of red - the cheapest red at 60,000 cop.

This is a fun place to stop in on a night in Getsemani. We had heard such hype about it that we were a little disappointed. That said, the tapas are very tasty, and the drinks menu is well-rounded, although kind of spare. Definitely would consider this for a drink and snack, but not a full meal.
