I chose Salou for our rehearsal dinner for 45 people. Juan and his staff were incredibly accommodating to our needs and provided excellent service. Our guests raved about the outstanding food and the great atmosphere. I highly recommend Salou for events, or simply for an excellent meal.

Everything was good and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend it! The desserts were one of the highlights. We had a melt in your mouth flan and brownie. The main dishes were also outstanding.

Food was exquisite, service was amazing and ambiance also really nice, I recommend el "trio de ceviches". Main courses are a bit pricey (around COP 50000), but ok for Cartagena.

Title sums up our experience… good food, nice vibe… (Need… more… characters…) We sat in the window sill with the baby while the grandparents drank themselves silly.

Looks like nothing from the outside, just the sort of place you want to find when out exploring. Stopped by mid-afternoon and they still had the full menu available so we ordered the ribs, Lomo Cuzco and tuna. Prices were average for Colombia ($26 per meat dish) but the quality was fantastic. We would also recommend the arroz con coco!

An exquisite combination of tropical glavours that delights. I personally loved the cebiches, a unique combination within this kind of dishes combaning tipical colombian ingredienta in perfect harmony. I also recomend the breaded shrimps, completely delicious! We went to the restaurant to have dinner with a group of 20 people. We had previously made an arrangement for a small menue with three choices each for starter, main dish and desert. Our meal was accompanied my a Chilean Carmenere (red) and an Argentinean Torrontes (white), both of which were superb, I was really blown away by the... More

No question the food here is top tier. But so are the prices which reduces the value somewhat ( quality vs cost ) compared to other places. It almost seems obligatory to get the ceviche trilogy ( trio ). 3 bowls are served up -last night they did a pesto-based, cream-based and kimchee/Korean. Very good and very interesting flavors. The... More

First of all, I suggest getting reservations because this place fills up. We ordered beef and salmon tataki, both of which were well presented and delicious. We also ordered several ceviches, which were particularly enjoyable because their recipes were a refreshing departure from the ordinary lemon and onion marinade. We were favorably impressed with the attitude of our server and... More

Without a doubt the best meal we had during our most recent trip to Cartagena. Although purists may find it an aberration, the mixing of the traditional thai or peruvian seafood with local delicacies is outstanding. We had as an appetizer the ceviche trilogy and we should have stopped there. Wow, the explosion of flavors, the mixing of traditional ceviches... More
