The guy who ran the guesthouse where we stayed recommended El Boliche -- and we are SO glad he did. It was a quiet, hot night (as usual in Cartagena) when we wandered through the neighborhood. The place was empty around 7:30pm, and we stopped to chat with the chef and co-owner outside. They were so welcoming and sweet, we... More

Wifey and I stayed at Santa Clara Sofitel for 4 nights on our honeymoon at the beginning of May. We read about El Boliche on trip advisor and went there for lunch. It was a short 2 min stroll from the hotel. We had the Tamarindo and it just blew our minds. The seafood was so fresh and the sauce... More

I ususally dont like raw fish, but these dishes were amazing!!! the little restaurant is stylish and has a unique ambiente, which I really enjoyed. In addition, the plates are arranged very arty and professional and the staff is very welcoming, attentive and nice! Highly recommended!

After visiting a number of expensive restaurants in Cartagena me and my girlfriend decided to try this cozy modern restaurant. We were truly amazed with the quality of food. Looking over to the open kitchen we could see the detail and attention that went into every dish. There is nothing better than being able to choose any plate on a... More

An absolute gem near San Diego in the Centro.(don't get confused with their previous location in Getsemani) Their seafood is exceptionally fresh even compared to the other high caliber seafood all over the town. All food is prepared to order, even the Ceviche is not pre-chopped, which is a rarity... The food reflects this care and attention to details William,... More

We checked out the location in the morning, were met by a co-owner who told us they would open at 12:30. We went back for lunch but were told it would be 10minutes or so before they would open due to construction but offered for us to come in to wait. The restaurant is very, very small and tables/chairs are... More

I tried a delicious Ceviche Tamarindo that has shrimp, octopus and some other seafood with a tamarindo sauce that I asked to be spicy. The result is excellent. Every ingredient blends perfectly and the final flavor is delicious. Great service and exotic drinks to make the dinner complete. At the end a spoon with Coconut based pasta as desert with... More

This was the best (among many) ceviche we had here in Cartagena. Really inventive, with a sushi chef-like attention to detail. Great, friendly and passionate owner - definitely not to be missed.
