Best in Cartagena

I have been in Cartagena for 21 months and I can say without a doubt that Don Juan gets my vote for best, most consistent meal and service in Cartagena. Great food from beginning to end. I highly recommend the Ox tail!!

The place is beautiful, the food was very good and the service was bad. We have crab fingers and fish, they were delicious. I dislike the Wifi is not open for their public .

This is definitely worth a visit, everything we had was fantastic! The octopus and crab claws were real highlights. Go at lunch time if you haven't booked ahead as it can get crowded/booked out for dinner.

We had booked here a while beforehand and when mentioning this to the very helpful staff at the Quadrofilio Hotel they advised that we should change out of our shorts due to the restaurant's strict dress code, this we duly did. We arrived at the restaurant at 7.25pm, it was closed although it did open promptly at 7.30pm! The interior... More

Over rated, underwhelming, over priced, exceptionally salty and over hyped. We would never come here again. Service seemed as if they didn't care. After being in Colombia (Bogota, Honda, Santa Marta) for a week, this was easily our worst meal. We are not sure how it got so many good ratings. We spend a lot of time researching restaurants and... Hi Berk. So sorry about what happened to you, i am asking everyone here to know what happened but they say you didn't say anything about the food when they asked. Prices are high if you didn't like anything. Otherwise prices are ok. I would like to know when exactly(day and Hour you came to check cameras and ask the... More

We made a reservation for 7:30 and got there early. The restaurant was not open so we left for a drink (they never told us when we booked that they opened at 7:30). We arrived back at 7:50 and they had given our table away. My friend speaks fluent Spanish and practically had to beg them to seat us after... More

Ate their last night with my wife. Spending a week in Cartagena, o have gotten to try lots of places. Was unimpressed. Wine list was a little disappointing and expensive. Appetizers, we had the spring rolls, and except that they had mildly asian flavors, were greasy and not so great. My wife had the oxtail, which she said was good,... More

Hi, So Sorry to read your review. About the appetizers nothing to say but please next time if there is one we really appreciate customers to tell us bad things right away. Wine list is pretty big for a 45 seats restaurants but we don't know what were you looking for exactly. The oxtail is a classic and the salmon... More

Had a cooking class with Juan--very interesting and tasty. Costs US$150--cash, and well worth the time and money. Very clean modern and efficient kitchen--with professional chefs.

Very good restaurant. We heard that it is one of the best restaurants in Cartagena, somwe had to go. We were not disappointed. The food was great. I absolutely recommend the lamb chops, they were amazing. We also had the shrimp risotto, which was perfect. Regarding desserts, the crumble pie was my favorite, although the Apple tart was also very... More

The title say it all and the price was quite reasonable. The desert was devine. The atmosphere was great, the restaurant is air conditioned which is a must for your dining relaxation.
