My friend and I dropped in here for lunch and it was definitely worth our visit. Firstly, I must mention that SEVERAL local Colombians we asked (from hotel staff to cab drivers) all mentioned this restaurant as one of their favorites. It's not the most gourmet of meals, but it is very down-to-earth and well-cooked Colombian cuisine. My friend and... More

The food was delicious, the decor particularly outstanding, and service quite good. They have many local dishes, and seafood dishes. Only a 4 minute walk from Reloj Gate.

Open on Sunday night is a rarity on Cartagena. This simple restaurant was just ok. The sea bass was excellent while the fish soup (mostly squid) was just fair. The wine list ( as in all Cartagena) was pricey. The fried calamari appetizer was fresh and good but the portion was small and expensive. A place to go on a... More

I have had bad meals in different countries, but this one is just about one of the worst. First of all, you have to wait a lot to get a waiter to come and take your order. We ordered two seafood dishes for appetizers. The first one was shrimp skewers but instead we got chicken skewers. We were so hungry... More

I was there in May 2012 actually with about 12 other travel agents on a familiarization trip sponsored by General Tours. I don't exactly remember what I had that day, but I remember it was cheesy, rich and delicious. I believe I had a lobster dish. But I was blown away by a simple, refreshing, non-alcoholic drink that became popular... More

Like most restaurants in Cartagena, average food at high prices. Could improve, walk further away from the convention center towards La Casa de Socorro, the original place for better quality and taste.

The rice with shrimp with a beef shish-kabab topped with a coconut/lemonade was great!!! Only complaint: it was chilly that night and we asked the waitress to please turn down or turn of the fan, not much effort was made to accommodate. Beside that the food was tasty.

I went there for lunch and there was nothing special about it. The decor is cute and the service was good. The food was ok.

Usually people recommended the place for being traditional Cartagena´s food but nothing its oustanding in this place( Use to be very good place in Socorro´s time). Now its just simple food and expensive according quality and service. There are better options to try local food in town.

Down the block from our hotel, Allure Chocolat. Lunch was tasty food and efficent service. Crowded with people enjoying plain deliciou s food. Don't go here for fancy atmosphere or tiny portions on big plates. Just enjoy.
