Down the block from our hotel, Allure Chocolat. Lunch was tasty food and efficent service. Crowded with people enjoying plain deliciou s food. Don't go here for fancy atmosphere or tiny portions on big plates. Just enjoy.

This place is a complete rip off! There are MUCH better options in Cartagena! The food is mediocre and not worth the exorbitant price they charge. And they do not care about customer service. Please please please avoid if you want to have a good trip and not be cheated off. People who recommend the place get a commission from... More

This was the first place we had lunch, recommended for being traditional cartagena food. The grilled fish with herbs was good, beer cold, place is nice, just nothing is outstanding. I think I had better patacones on the streets.

A taxi driver took us here. We ordered a couple of appetizers. They were so bad we didn't order a second course, it was really disappointing. The place itself looked promising. Beware that the English translations of the menu are mostly very misleading too. We both speak fluent Spanish also, and the descriptions weqe totally incorrect. There is a vast... More

We ordered a couple of entrees and fish platters, the food was good, a bit expensive but as in most cartagena restaurants. The service is probably the worst I've ever experienced. We decided to give it a second chance since the first time we went there I had to stand up to look for the waiters who took so long... More

We saw this recommended in a couple of websites so we decided to try it. It's overrated and it's overpriced. The service seemed to be some of the worst we had experienced in Cartagena, where you normally receive very good service. The ambiance is fine, but that becomes irrelevant once you see the prices on the menu.

Nice ambience, good air conditioning, hIgh prices, barely adequate service, warm white wine (bottle colder than wine itself). My fish plate was too salty, ate half. Overcooked seafood in a dinner companion´s fishstew. The wilted iceberg lettuce slaw was miserable. This restaurant simply misses the mark...

The service was bad, food mediocre, and value not so great. Cocina de Pepina was 1000 times better. I would skip this place next time.

Our Columbian friends took us here, I don't think they researched the restaurant. Over priced and just average. I had cold shrimp salad that was shrimp swimming in a thousand island type sauce. So much sauce I couldn't taste the shrimp and couldn't eat it all, ruined the dish. Coconut rice was not good, have had better. Eat on the... More

I had the snook ceviche, local fish in lime juice. Perfectly fine, but $10 in Colombia should go a longer way than that. Others around me were high on the $20 steaks. Really? Is that what you're in Colombia for? If you want nice food and some peace and quiet, this is a fine place. Outdoor seats were nice, but... More
