Strong point: - looks cosy - service is fine. Weak points: - food is quite average => Although rated quite high in diverse Colombian travelers guide: it is nice but nothing more.

We went for lunch and it started well with good air conditioning and really cold coke and beers. They serves garlic bread with dip and then we ordered. Then it went downhill. We ordered Picardy mixta which was meant to be a grill of beef and chicken. It was not a grill - it was more like a goulash or... More

We are a family of 4 with 2 kids ages 9 and 10. We were on our way to Donjuan, it was closed, so we just waked around until we found this restaurant. It looked quaint so we went in. We were delighted to find super friendly service, delicious Sea Bass and Red Snapper and great hamburgers for the kids.... More

wonderfully friendly staff with fab recipes that seem to have been handed down through the family generations. They were also very gracious with our 10month old who likes to try a bit of everything while making quite a mess! thoroughly recommend this little place to anyone looking for a tasty meal.

This is a very simple but nice restaurant! Friendly service! though is small and not so ideal for couples looking for some romantic time!

It was a hot day in Cartegena--but probably most days are--and we had been touring the old part of the city. This restaurant/bar was just off the old town square, and provided great service, a clean bathroom, cold refreshments, and good conversation. Turns out they had already received a Trip Advisor award in 2011. We really appreciated a cool place... More

Not great. We shared a Robalo al Ajillo which was a good sized piece of fish, very tasty, but served with uninspired vegetables and very sweet coconut rice. The shrimp ceviche was in a word, disgusting, with kind of a pickled acidic taste. Service was good, prices are reasonable but not cheap. Don't be fooled, it's always full, but there... More

We have been back to this place every time we visit Cartagena. It's a small place and generally never busy which might make you think it is probably not that good, but it is. It has great food with good ingredients. The cazuela is the best I have had in a standard restaurant. I have also tried the fillet mignon... More

Disappointed. I really expected much more given its high ranking on TA and another traveller had recently recommended it to us. Had sea bass. Very unimaginative and simple. I've had better sea bass at home from the grocery store. Fish was dry. Probably it was pan fried with a bit of flour and butter. My patacones were totally dry and... More
