Historic and amazing place

This place is worth the visit and a good excuse to be in Barranquilla. You can feel the bohemia and food is really good. Do not miss it.

I loved this restaurant. It is full of character and so many stories associated with its literary clientele that it has created its own museum and film. Great food and service - strongly recommended.

A very nice restaurant with a very friendly staff and a great welcoming. The food is good but not so sophisticated ! It's like a nice place with a very good atmosphere with live music and laugh in a "museum" decor.

My boyfriend's family took me here my first night that I was in Barranquilla and it was definitely a good choice. There's lots of cool history and you get to see and know a lot. The food was really good, but it's the history and atmosphere that are worth a visit!

Very gentle people working in this piece of culture of Colombia. Food is great, very well served, abundant and cheap compared to European or North American standards. One fish entry, 2 main dishes and 4 beers, 70000 pesos, almost 35 dollars. During dinner an orchestra has been playing typical carnival music live. People dancing everywhere. Alicia Padilla a lovely hostess... More

If you are a fan of literature then this is the place to go. Garcia Marquis, One Hundred Years of Solitude won the Nobel prize. The food is good also.

A medium size restaurant with live music, we just had wine so cannot comment on the food. We arrived to late to eat something since the kitchen closes at 10PM. The area where it is located used to be a good one but is not the best nowadays.

Such a fun visit to La Cueva, hangout for Gabriel Garcia-Marquez and many of his lierary/artistic group. Food is fine, atmosphere is wonderful. I am so glad I went.

I really liked this restaurant. I don't know if it is only on Saturday nights but they had a live salsa band which was cool. The service was decent and the food was fantastic. The only negatives might be the location which was a little to the south so they have to have a guy standing guard at the door... More

it's a very nice place where you can eat and have a nice time learning about the place where the main writers of north coast of Colombia gathered. Nice food
