We almost always eat the Pytt i Panna with eggs and it's always very good. Our son also often take the swedish meatballs and mashed potato which I also can recommend. The coffe is probably the best in whole Chengdu and accompanied with swedish waffles it's a perfect match. The service is always very good and it's an welcoming atmosphere.

Stugen is my favorite Cafe in Chengdu. Since finding it I have been going steadily for the last 2 years or so and it never gets old. Large selection of delicious hand brewed coffee as well as home made sweets, cakes, schnapps and of course delicious meal selections. In the winter now they have been making a "soup of the... More

Very nice place to have a coffee in a chaotic city. The owners are always present and very real. They take pride in their coffee. The menu is small but enough. The sandwiches are tasty. The location is hard to find and in a shabby building. They do close a lot so make sure they are open before searching for... More

Just had a great brunch at cafe stuggen. I had a potato and pork fryup with two fried eggs and a refreshing cup of Brazilian coffee. Great start to a Saturday in the Du. The family had various sandwiches with salmon and shrimps. The owners are a lovely couple and we have going here for years, because they are genuinely... More

We've been on the road for four months now, traveling overland through South East Asia and making the mistake of continuously seeking out the little western restaurants and cafes. This one was a very pleasant surprise, probably the best we've found on our trip. We had an open smoked salmon sandwich, coffee, swedish scones that come with yummy cheese (and... More

Run, do not walk, to Kaffestugan. It serves the best coffee that I've had in China. It serves delicious snacks and smoothies. If we'd have been there for dinner, I would've tried the bigger dishes like the meatballs, but... The best part about Kaffestugan was the owners. They are lovely, generous people who provided us with maps and advice, games... More

Kaffestugan provides excellent food, coffee and service. We visited in the late morning for brunch and could not have been happier with our meal. We had first class cafe au lait - it tasted like real coffee, rather than the very weak version that you get in most places in China. The two paninis we ordered were delicious. To top... More

I went there once with my friends who kept telling me about this place how awesome it was... I don't know if the service was bad only that day but they messed up our order twice. I had a mushroom sandwich (or something like that), because they didn't have many dishes for vegetarians, it was alright but I wouldn't order... More

After a couple of weeks of coffee hell in China, I found the perfect antidote. Kaffestugan is a simple little cafe, tucked away on the second floor of a shopping centre. Found it by taking the ring-road bus and staring fixedly out of the window until I saw it's black/red/white sign and then quickly jumping out. There are probably (definitely)... More
