Diner now has 3 locations in QD, May 4 Square, Marina City and Taigu square. quality and service has been uneven, ordered food does not arrive as described on menu, menu shows a 500ml beer, and instead given a 250ml at same price, etc...Betty, at Taigu at least addressed these issues. Regarding food, burgers always seem undercooked, go to canvas... More

Their pizza is nice and thin with some decent toppings. The environment and food is overall mediocre. Also, don't expect their food to be consistent across all their locations. The Diner22 in my opinion tastes the best. However, the other locations, especially the one in Marina City is horrible. I ordered chicken wings and it came with no sauce and... More

I prefer authentic foods, but friends will be friends and we ended up going to Diner 22 on numerous occasions. The food is decent western food for China. The seabass was decent though they only have a couple fish per day, so be early and not everything on the menu is always available due to the chef's desire for fresh... More

the decor is cool, the food nothing to write about, but the beer, brewed next door, I think, is fabulous.

After much travel in China I can say this is very average Western food, but decent for China. The mushroom soup was the only item I really enjoyed. The decor is nice and modern. The service is all over the place, but the servers do try. The city has very limited Western food options so Diner 22 is acceptable. I... More

If you want a burger or chicken sandwich then this is one of your best bets in Qingdao. But the competition is not up to much so it doesn't have to be very good. Ok but nothing special.

Colleagues and I spent 1 month in Qingdao. We discovered the Diner 22 and it became one of our favorites. Excellent atmosphere and staff. Food is very good also. The lasagna and the beef tenderloin were our favorites. The Diner 22 has a mix of local and western customers.

It's a nice area with a shaded outdoor area, so those tables are relatively cool, even in the summer. The decorations inside are eclectic and fun, and it's nice eating familiar tastes like crusty bread and pasta. I think this is an example of a Chinese place trying to do western food and having some misses here and there. For... More

Of course this isn't comparable to real western food from home, but that should only surprise you if you forget that you're in China. This place wasn't bad at all. A little hard to find, tucked on the edge of a cool center part of the city. The menu options had a small bit of anything you might want...pasta, steak,... More

Pleasant environment inside and out. Reasonable prices for large dishes. Primarily western food. Service is also attentive
