Nice place is nice in terms of design , aesthetics , and service. Very clean, but way over-priced. The food is comes out looking fancy and plate presentation is visually appealing, but that's where it ends. The food is bland, average at best. Nothing will inspire you or blow you away. You'll walk out saying did I just pay 100... More

Excellent location and view of Dalian by day and night. Great food and drink with friendly service. Extensive menu with draft beer and wines. Spacious yet cosy too, will not disappoint.

love it . 911 for western people a wee bit pricey but middle of town and can be a great "hq" if you want to play in the under ground markets. Tx for your kindness D Damien

A feeling of Scandinavia Just the place to visit if you are keen to meet other non-Chinese people, and the menu is great both for dinner and lunch

My husband and I recently visited this restaurant for breakfast; he had the classic European breakfast and I had the Danish breakfast. My husband describes his breakfast as some aspects were excellent and other aspects were below average. For example, the sausages that came with my husband breakfast was that very unnatural pink that comes with cheap street sausages. The... More

Whenever I need a break from the chaos that is the middle kingdom, this is where I head. Sunday brunch is amazing: large portions, variety, excellent taste, pricey for China but completely worth it. Ambiance is cultured and civilized and the service is best I've had in China - the owners train their staff to a more Western standard. Excellent... More

Visited in November 2013 for Saturday and Sunday brunches. This is a lovely, spacious cafe with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Continental menu aimed at pleasing many tastes. If you have traveled around China you'll find the prices for Western food to be very reasonable, but as usual heavy on bread. Staff speak functional English, though not a requirement... More

I have eaten here many times and always enjoyed it. Just great to get a good pint of Carlsberg! The atmosphere is quite Scandinavian and very friendly. Sitting outside on a warm day watching the world go by is very pleasant. Good Western food is not easy to find in Dalian but here you get what you hope for!

We tried some of their new menus - some risotto with fish - from their Italian top chef. The dish really looks like you are on the most expensive place - a nice yellow pumpkin sause does not only looks great with the dish, but also taste that way. The atmosphere at noon was relaxed - music, which gears you... More
