The really feel is the restaurant in Italy somewhere, start with prosecco and seafood platter, then I take some pasta and ossobuco, It was fantastic . the semifreddo was introduced by chef just make me really Italian "Dolce Vita" Style. Looking forward to tasting other food in my next visit.

I stay at the Marriott on business travel and have been a regular at this restaurant for the last year and a half. This was a fantastic restaurant when Stefano was the chef here. He ensured that the quality of service and food was high. Since he left I am very sad to say most of the old staff left... More

Based upon the very positive reviews in this forum we selected to go down to the Mariott hotel and take an dinner at this place. As we were not too hungry we settled for a rather simple meal being spaghetti and pizza. So, we didn't test the other probably more challenging dishes. Unlike other comments I would not rate this... On a business trip I was staying at Marriott Suzhou and eaten one night at Alto Vino. It was an OK meal but for China the price was very high so quality and price really didn't match. I believe the chef was on vacation at the time, which may be the problem. I hear it is much better when he... More

Discovered by chance, Alto Vino is a delightful restaurant. We were warmly greeted by the Executive Chef Stefano originally from Sicily. We felt immediately at home and enjoyed an attentive service by Stefano himself. The food was delicious and during a short moment we felt like we were in Italy. The products are fresh and tasty and the staff efficient.... More

After a long trip across China, Europeans have chosen to try the Italian food in China. Well, at Stefano this has made really fun. The food was really very Italian and was absolutely superb. Although lacking the Italian waiters, it was a very successful evening on which we will remember for a long time. Well worth a visit in any... More

I've been here at least four times since late February and the food has been fantastic every time. Great complimentary pizza appetizer, the chef Stefano often comes out, the Osso Bucco was great. Prociutto and melon is wonderful, as is the lasagna. After tonight's experience at Danny's Kitchen (where I had a live worm on my lasagna and they didn't... More

I had a great time in Alto Vino. The food was good. It was probably the best Italian food I've ever had in Suzhou.
