All-you-can-eat Dim Sum lunch!

We ate lunch here just after crossing the border from Hong Kong. It was a nice refuge from the persistent sales people targeting fresh meat just after crossing the border. The menu was very large. The option to have a la carte Dim Sum would have also been equally reasonable. We had to work to... read more

When in Asia, I generally avoid eating in the restaurants of big hotel chains, however we were staying in the Shangri-La hotel with relatives who don't like Chinese food. In order to avoid a family argument, we all decided to eat separately in the different hotel restaurants and meet up together for a glass of wine in the lobby afterwards.... More

Not sure if they were understaffed, but stopped in for dinner and the service was terrible. The waiter apologized for forgetting about us. Would not recommend. The food was average and not worth the price.

Great food here and very 'safe' for Westerners. Many different menus (for different styles) so ask what there is. As well as Chinese language menus there are also picture menus. Decor is traditional Chinese and very nice. Not a cheap place but very good quality!

I had lunch with two former colleagues from Jiangzu at the Shang Palace last week. We selected quite a few dim sums and congees (rice soup with fish and meats, etc.) from its rich All You Can Eat menu. The quality of the food was very good and we had no compliant at all. We were also much impressed by... More

a bit quiet in the throng of the evening diners..there are probably better places next door..nevertheless, staff were polite, functional. Service was a process line . Drinks, food..bill. Not too pricey, food is tasty yet didn't vary that much in flavour from other courses.. Been once

I ate here with a tour group. Some of the best Chinese food I have ever had. Noodles, rice, dim sum, spring rolls, and egg tarts. The tea was hot! Not one complaint. No pictures due to being with a tour group.
