Clean and quick service. Drunken prawns were quite unique. The steamed grouper fish with soy sauce and the Crab fried with Vermicelli were my favourite dishes.

I really enjoyed having Dim Sum. Nice view from this restaurant also satisfied me and my husband. This place looks like a town of Italy! But outside a lot of mosquitos. Besides, this place is not accessible via public transportation.

There are a lot of great choices on the menu. The menu is also in English, and there are several photographs. Service is fairly good, but our food took a long time to come out, and the order it came seemed random. The atmosphere is very nice, and welcoming - clean and efficient - and not at all crowded. Hosted a business meeting for eight starting at ten thirty so this was dim sum plus a lot of soup (fish head broth was amazing even if I would never have ordered it myself), rice and hotpot dishes. Food very good (not as good as the best in Hong Kong but still very good) and atmosphere is superb. I have... More

There are different Laurel Restaurants, but I would recommend the one at OCT Portofino club house (in Nanshan, Xiang Sian Street), where it is possible to enjoy the food sitting in front of the lake and a nice reconstruction of the italian city. The food is very good, definitely recommended the Peking Duck and the typical fish.

Other Laural outlet is better in term of food. Especially the one at Luohu Shopping Complex and Shenzhen Golf course

Had dinner here January 2, 2013. Had Peking duck, prawn in vermicelli and sweet and sour pork. Flavors were really well balanced, lovely presentation, and well timed. However, was up feeling very unwell a few hours later! Other diners I was with were the same unfortunately. We put it down to the prawns since we all had some. Disappointing as... More

They try to sell you dumplings sure that is fine but you need to eat fish dishes, the rice with calamari, pork dumplings are fabouloous. Yes, busy... More

Especially during less hot weather, the outside sitting along a large pond is very relaxing and enjoyable for early business dinner. Any food we have chosen on the English picture menu was suitable also for visitors who so far had less exposure to Chinese cuisine. Staff is friendly and attentive. Nice place, although with >250 RMB per persons for rather... More

The Peking Duck was better than any duck I have had anywere else in China. Everyone in our party agreed that each of our dishes was excellent.
