Great Indian food and dinning experience

This is a restaurant that I always visit when I'm in Xiamen. John knows his food, wine, beer and how to host. I highly recommend! It can be a little hard to find but well worth it.

Went for dinner with hubby and a couple of friends last night and thoroughly enjoyed every dish. The restuarant serves northern indian cuisine with spicy yet delicate flavours, and all the usual favourites are available; tandoori, tikka etc. The restuarant is interestingly decoreated in a ranch come log cabin style with some interesting artwork touches. The owner and staff were... More

I had ordered two dishes, the quantity was good, the size of the naam was big. But the overall taste was just average, though the preparation and the smell was really nice and appealing.

I was very surprised to find this place in Xiamen. The indian food here is very good. It is prepared very well. Among the best indian restaurants I have been to. The place has an interesting ambience with wine cellar. The restaurant host is a great guy and makes it one my favorite places to stop by in Xiamen.

Had a fantastic dinner with our friends who recommended Indiano John's for us, one of the best Indian style food I have ever had. If you also want to hear and learn about wine, the master and owner itself will talk about wine that you have ever heard, the wine knowledge is coming from the heart, just fantastic. Will go... I was so lucky to find this superb restaurant through some of my friends that live in Xiamen. Bit hard to find first time but worth every effort! The food gave me back my appetite for Indian food. The friendly staff manages to bring many rounds of small an delicious dishes as one perfect stream to the table. The owner... More

Excellent quality, never been disappointed. John , Josh and staff are always happy to tweak their already extensive menu to suit individual tastes. We regularly eat-in, but also takeaway, with leftovers going in my son's lunchbox for school!
