Incredible!

Had a fantastic dinner here. Nachos, enchiladas, burritos... Certainly the best Mexican food I've had in China. The staff were wonderful, very friendly, efficient, took the time to explain the menu, offered recommendations. Really this meal couldn't have been any better....Except for price: food... read more

The staff were wonderful, very friendly, efficient, took the time to explain the menu, offered recommendations. Really this meal couldn't have been any better....Except for price: food prices are very fair and reasonable, cocktail prices are not. (my only complaint!) 60 kuai margaritas,... More

The restaurant itself makes you feel that you are not in Xiamen (which is nice). The menu (one in chinese, one in English) offers a good choice of Mexican and other western food! The point which didn't really satisfied me was the efficiency of the waiters and the kitchen! The restaurant wasn't really busy for lunch but still we had... More

I used to rave about Coyote when they were in their old location. Since moving something has gone adrift. We used to drink rather a lot of their margaritas but of late these have definitely become like alcohol-free zones. Tasteless ghosts of their former selves. Then just to compound matters, last week we arrived before our guests and ordered drinks... More

Being from Southern California I crave good Mexican food. It's hard to find, in Asia! This is one of the better places I have tried, though, I have to admit, I only ate there once. It could have been more spicy but there was some kick and the ingredients were pretty fresh. I wonder if their guacamole is any good... More

I started going to Coyote when they first opened and was pleased when they moved to this new location. Food has always been good and the service as well. One of my regular places I like to go when working in Xiamen.

Tired of Asian food, I saw this restaurant nearby to my hotel. Invited in by Tiffany, one of the owners, who was extremely pleasant and spoke excellent English. The ambience was great, but the food was ordinary and also expensive considering we were in China. Even local beer was expensive. The waiters need to be trained properly. I asked for... More

I'm from Southern California and I love Mexican food and this is definitely the best Mexican food I have had in all of Asia and other parts of the world. I can absolutely recommend the shrimp (or any) fajitas and the nachos were also a big hit with my friends.

Simply put, the food is delicious, staff is friendly, and the cocktails are made with attention. This place really tries to serve quality Mexican food for their customers. I have been all over China and its not easy to get a good FISH Taco!! To get these authentic ingredients can't be cheap in China. I think the price is perfectly... More

Coyote has a nice setting. It is a not quite high end restaurant that could be anywhere in the world. Good location in the Marco Polo area. The food is good but lacks sauces and some Mexican flavors. The portions are not big but expensive. Three of us cost about 700 rmb. Service was friendly and attentive.
