After a thoroughly bland and unpalatable 'meal' at the Best Western restaurant, La Luna made for a welcome change! It seemed quite hard to find a decent place to eat while we were in Punta Arenas during late November 2013, but La Luna with its craft beer and menu of fresh seafood, fish and meat dishes was a pleasant surprise.... Favorite restaurant in Puntarenas. We were there in 2008 and weren't dissapointed when we returned in 2014. Don't miss the Chupe de centollo; outstanding taste and texture. Very pintoresque, cozy and familiar.

Loved the variety of foods on the menu including the famous Chilean Centolla (Crab), Shellfish, several fish choices, and a variety of meats. Their wine & beer list is outstanding. This place is extremely busy during their summer months and attracts many tourists from all over the world, making it a popular restaurant to not miss. Overall we loved the... More

The manager at my hotel recommended La Luna as a good option to grab a bite and try some local beer. I ordered a steak with potatoes and a Szot beer brewed out of Santiago. Despite what appeared to be ample refrigeration behind the bar, I watched as they pulled my beer out of case against the wall and proceeded... More

On a Sunday night, this was one of the few places open and it was quite busy. The atmosphere of this mix of bar and restaurante is actually quite good, the decoration with lots of photos interesting. The food was nothing special, and rather pricey for what it is. I was warned that my plate was really hot - ironically,... More

Just wish I could remember the details! But we arrived just as they were opening for dinner, without a reservation, and were seated immediately. Staff was still arriving so initial service was spotty as the tables filled but quickly returned to a normal level. Our meals were excellent (still kicking myself for forgetting exactly what we had) and I remember... More

I came here on a Sunday with some friends from work since it was one of the very few places open in Punta Arenas. The food was great. I had the blue-cheese scallops dish as an appetizer and although thought it may be a little weird at first it turned out to be one of the best things I've had... More

Our cab driver told us that many restaurants are not open on a Sunday night. We asked for recommendations at our hotel and all were closed or had run out of food. Our final stop was to La Luna. It is located very convenient to the main square. We arrived and it was packed (mainly tourists). We thought we'd have... More

Great looking place with just the right atmosphere. Unfortunately the food was not that good. Lukewarm, sugary soup, barely hotter ostiones parmesana. A huge disapointment.
