Absolutely packed which is usually a good thing, not in this case.....huge mistake going in here on our last night of an otherwise fantastic holiday. The food was at best warm and edible, but not tasty or worth the money. The service was truly awful. The tables were so close together the waitress had to turn sideways to get by... More

The restaurant says they are known for their Chupe de Centolla. For those who don't know it is like a King crab souffle and it was delicious! We had a very nice Chardonnay with it. We also had a scallops dish in a lightly spicy broth. This was a very nice counter part to the Chupe de Centolla since it... More

I have been coming to La Luna for quite a few years now. I love the rich and creamy Chupe de Centolla and the Ostiones Parmesana. The food is rich and their seafood is best. The owners are very friendly and so is the staff. Make sure you look up and see the table on the roof as well as... More

With time to spare in Punta Arenas, we wandered around looking for somewhere to eat and came across La Luna. The place was packed but we were found a table by the window. Our order was taken promptly and with a smile. The food was delicious - spicy shrimps and pasta. Good beer. It seemed popular with locals as well... More

Food and service is better than expected in this rather touristy restaurant. Strangely enough, the atmosphere is quite pleasant. Nice decor. We had lunch and dinner there more than we would have expected at first glance. A good surprise.

We ate here for the third time in as many years. La Luna’s atmosphere is convivial and welcoming. Its food is consistently average. Actually, it’s a cut above average for Punta Arenas which is why we’ve decided to chime in. This time the Picante de Camerones (Spicy Baked Shrimp) heated our palate without setting our hair on fire though we... More

Located in a quiet street a couple of blocks away from the main square, nice little gem of a restaurant. Busy, friendly staff, good menu. Opens a little earlier for dinner than most (2000 dinner starts in Argentina/Chile are a bit of a shock to the system from an Australian used to eating at 1830-1900) so that's how I ended... More

After a thoroughly bland and unpalatable 'meal' at the Best Western restaurant, La Luna made for a welcome change! It seemed quite hard to find a decent place to eat while we were in Punta Arenas during late November 2013, but La Luna with its craft beer and menu of fresh seafood, fish and meat dishes was a pleasant surprise.... Favorite restaurant in Puntarenas. We were there in 2008 and weren't dissapointed when we returned in 2014. Don't miss the Chupe de centollo; outstanding taste and texture. Very pintoresque, cozy and familiar.
