Stupendous average restaurant

What I didn't like ; As for all other Restaurants at Punta Arenas or Puerto Natales , The Indian Tonic Water is from Canada Dry . I recomend for a stupendous meal the King Crab Crepes with Cheese !

We ate there twice and enjoyed it very much. Seafood is very good, and the sopa de mariscos (seafood soup) was loaded with tasty bits. The shrimp were spicy (but not too) and cheesy and filling. They also have local beers. Staff is friendly, service pretty quick, and the decor is really cool - all sorts of pictures and artifacts... More

This place has a local charm and great food with local materials. Their seafood is excellent. The service is good and very reasonable price for all food. Highly recommend.

I was told La Luna was noted for their king crab, so I ordered it - and was surprised when the meal was delivered. It was not king crab in the shell, but rather all the meat was already extracted and included in a bowl with a light cream sauce, a bit of onion, and a few other flavorings --... More

Very noisy. Typical tourist restaurant with mediocre food. Friendly staff, however can not recommend.

Not bad, not so good. Just a touristic restaurant with an overloaded decoration. It is prepared for tourists that have no too much time to spent in a restaurant and just want to eat something.

This is a popular restaurant with a great seafood selection including king crab with an interesting selection of meats as well. The restaurant is lively and the staff all spoke English. The restaurant has an extensive wine selection at reasonable prices.

We dined at La Luna as a party of 7, including one child on a Saturday night. We did not experience "Fawlty Towers" service as one review suggested. The service was quite attentive, without being overpowering. Meals ranged from good to excellent, depending on the choice. My Salmon was quite tasty, but a little overdone and could have used more... You don't expect to find good food Punta Arenas, and you don't. This place has good reviews here, and I suspect the reason is the "atmosphere". We were disappointed in two ways. One is that you don't have a lot of options. They offer appetizers, a couple of soups, and entrees. There is one salad, but it's a large chef... More

I visited "La Luna" first time 8 years ago. Now in Jan 2015 did it again. Nothing has changed. The restaurant still remains one of my favorites around the whole world!!! Kuba (I work on cruise ships as a performer/ head liner since 2003, and have been to almost every country on the World) Highly recommend!
