Service could be better

You pay for location so yes its pricey. Food is good though the pisco sours were disappointing (we ordered the mango one). Servers speak only Chilean Spanish, goes for the menu too.

This restaurant was a great find. The food was really good - Peruvian but with a hint of Japanese too. We had a delicious salad with teriyaki chicken, plus 'rice with seafood' that was basically a paella and very yummy. There were also some sushi options, which some friends had and enjoyed. Service could be a little inattentive but the... More

nice place next to the beach, we came early which is like 13h here and that was Ok, at 14h it was completely full. We took small dishes (entradas) but that was more then enough; Nice waiter, nice wine and very nich food, ceviche from the house is a suggestion to try.

La Mulata is definitely the best restaurant in Iquique. I was in Iquique for a month on work and found this to be the best spot in town. It has a great view, great ambiance, and delicious food. My favorite dish there is the Frutta del Mar which comes in an awesome yellow pasta sauce(Not sure why its yellow). The... More

I must begin talking about the aperitifs! The drinks in this place are heavenly! You can taste, feel, and even talk to the mango!! Any drink you order, order it with mango!! The tiradito of 2 colors is something special! More than that! Amazing! You should try it! It is a must in the menu! For main dishes the variety... More

La mulata serves the fushion Peruvian- Japanese. The location is great, right in front of Cavancha beach. I liked the food a lot, especially the Tacu Tacu. Comparing to the similar KIRU, I would say that is just a little behind but not much. Would recommend !

Excellent peruvian/nikkei food, nice environment with beach view. A bit expensive but worth it. For a nice view table is necessary make a reservation.
