Found this on trip advisor and decided to give it a try. Absolutely fantastic, the Bratwurst Sausages are delicious as is the fried potato with acon an onions. We also had sauerkraut and it was very different to any I'd had before but I loved it. My buddy preferred it more sour but I don't like sour anything! To top... More

Not that far from Pub street, but your tuk tuk will find it.It was the usual hot steamy day we went for lunch,as afer a few months in Asia on Asian food, one always wants more flesh/meat to eat,so we choose German! We were the only diners that day,and the 2 waitresses/barmaids were attending to us well. Electric Fans were focussed on us... More

Went here twice over the past week and it was excellent. I'd recommend the mushroom schnitzel. The guy who runs it is real solid too. "Wirt" a visit. :)

First off, the trpadvisor map, as always, sucks. As to the rest. The food is basic, but tasty and in plenty. The service is a little lacking. I suppose if you are use to the gruff Germanic stereotype you may not feel put off, but I prefer a more genteel touch. Which is not to say I would not go... More

The food was excellent and they had a good beer selection (by Cambodian standards). It's a bit out of the way - other side of the river from the main town, and down a dirt road along the river. Could be hard to find if you are not with someone who has already eaten there

I am German myself and pretty fussy if I t comes to my food selection. But I must say The Best Wiener Schnitzel I had here in Cambodia since quite a while.

First of all: look at the map in the pictures, its a lot easier to find. Veeeery nice food! The owner is a cook who's been working in Asia for ages. It was SO delicious. My boyfriend had the classical Schnitzel and he was amazed! I took the Spaghetti Carbonara and I really enjoyed it. For dessert we had some... More

After finding this place on T/A and with great reviews we decided to give it a go as we have had over three weeks of Asian food. Address on T/A is wrong so beware. It's behind the crocodile farm across the river along a dirt road. We rang them and gave the phone to our Tuk Tuk driver who quickly... More

I am german and I did eat some Wiener Schnitzel in my life. This is by far the best I ever ate. Who would have guessed that I have to go all the way to Siem Reap.... Do not even bother with the rest of the menu. Just order the Wiener Schnitzel Pork with pataoe salad (tasted like my mum... More

Haven't had good German/Austrian food since I came back from Europe two years back and this impromptu visit to Schnitzel Wirtin during my trip to Siem Reap in May 2014 just blew me away. Totally didn't expect there to be such authentic Austrian restaurant in Siem Reap serving excellent food at a very reasonable price. My friends and I ordered... More
