The Original And Best (In Siem Reap)

As good a schnitzel We've had outside of Vienna, or its Italian cousin in Milan, cottoletta. If you're craving something non-Khmer for a change, and don't fancy the usual western options of pizza or burgers, go for Schnitzel Wirtin . Hidden place, not easy to find ask the tuk tuk driver to call for direction. Great schnitzel by quality and size, spaghetti Bolognese, cooked al dente were very nice too, idyllic place in the garden of a private house, very friendly owner

Schnitzel Wirtin is a great place to eat if you're in need of a break from the very delicious Cambodian food. We enjoyed our meal so much that we came twice whilst we were in Siem Reap. The schnitzel (chicken or pork) servings are absolutely enormous and great value at US$7.50. As a family of 4, we ordered a variety... More

Out of the way on the outskirts of town. Great food at reasonable prices. Two people could eat one plate. Drinks are reasonable. We had schnitzel, terrific. Only wish they had sauerkraut but cabbage in Cambodia may be hard to come by. We usually ate local Khmer food for lunch and tried other varieties at night to even out the... More

This restaurant is about 10min walk from pub street. It is a restaurant that is setup at the courtyard of a house. The food was ok but the serving size was huge for a lady, big eater may find it just nice. However, the food waiting time was a bit too long.

Well, this place is very rustic, more like a backyard with scooters, dogs, a couple of tables and a bar. Do not expect fancy decoration or a spesific style. Based on experiences from other places in Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Kina) we know that the surondings do not always give justice to the food, so we gave it a try.... More

Thanks taking the the time writing a review and it shows that not everybody likes schnitzel perhaps it would have be nice to try another more tasty dish such as Goulasch or Belgian Beef stew or even our authentic Thai Food. There were about more than 12 people ordering before you so if you didn"t like our little garden restaurant covered... Trust Trip Advisor when they say this is a great place to eat at. The owner was lovely and very accommodating. Schnitel's were huge and delicious. Just a short Tuk Tuk ride just over the bridge to the older part of town. Must visit!!!

Fantastic food all round but the schnitzel was to die for!!! Missing it already. Huge portions, just what you need after a long days walking at the temples.

I have only visited once so can only say that the visit was very nice, I was riding my bicycle along the Siem Reap River so was happy to find a place where I could pull my bicycle into the safety of a gated compound, the Schnitzel was very good, the beers made it easier to get through the day...
